We have been writing this week to persuade our local Council to grant permission to give all pupils in Fife an extra holiday for the World Cup. We have been developing our use of persuasive language and rhetorical questions. We have also been working hard at improving our spelling and handwriting skills.<\/p>\n
In Numeracy, we have been learning how to use number machines and calculating input and output. We have been developing our mental maths skills using 5 a day questions and Sumdog, where we have had a class competition.<\/p>\n
In P.E, we have been working hard at improving our skills in team work in field sports and also in athletics. We have been learning about the physical and mental benefits of exercise.<\/p>\n
In French, we have been learning our numbers and to describe family members and pets orally, also\u00a0 writing.<\/p>\n
We are continuing to explore Biodiversity in our topic and in our outdoor learning. We enjoyed learning about David Attenborough to celebrate his 100th birthday in recognition of his contribution to nature and the environment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
