This week, we have been developing our use of language in our writing, including the use of similes and metaphors in our stories and poems.\u00a0 We each created a school based character and wrote detailed description about our character. We have been developing our comprehension, spelling and handwriting skills.<\/p>\n
In Numeracy and Maths, we have been developing our skills in dividing and focusing on learning the 6 x table. We have been learning more about angles and directions.<\/p>\n
We have been learning more about Queen Victoria and created timelines of key events. We also used observation skills to draw a portrait of her. We have been developing our character skills in drama from the Victorian era.<\/p>\n
We have enjoyed a session of rugby again this week and also we have continued to learn more Scottish dances.<\/p>\n
In Health, we have been exploring what to do with worries and who our back up team are.<\/p>\n
We enjoyed participating in a live French lesson this week with other pupils from across Scotland.<\/p>\n
We developed our skills in playing F and C chords in Ukulele.<\/p>\n
In Science, we have been learning more about electricity and renewable energy. We took on the role of data analysts and discussed jobs for the future.<\/p>\n
We enjoyed taking time to notice some of the birds in our playground as we get ready to participate in the RSPB Big Birdwatch.<\/p>\n
