We have been learning about how the oceans are filling with plastic litter and this is affecting the marine life. Our collage shows marine animals but they have been made using litter, rubbish and scraps from the classroom to show how much litter is in the oceans.<\/p>\n<p>In Literacy, we wrote a story with a fun fair setting. We created our characters and story line. We had to try and use similes, alliteration and colour-matching to describe the setting and our characters.<\/p>\n<p>In Numeracy, we have been learning about fractions of amounts and fractions on a number line.<\/p>\n<p>In PE, we practised the sack race for Sports Day and had a go at hurdles.<\/p>\n<p>In Health and Wellbeing, the P3s discussed each other&#8217;s uniqueness and looked for similarities and differences. We learnt that having similarities and differences is great and we must respect our differences. The P4s learnt about what&#8217;s involved in looking after a baby.<\/p>\n<p>We also did 2 treasure hunts where we had a map of the school grounds and had to use the crosses to find the items that had been hidden somewhere.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week we have started our Under the Ocean collage for the school competition.
