We had group discussions about whether Scotland should keep looking for Nessie. We came up with 3 reasons why we should and 3 reasons why we shouldn’t. In our groups we had roles to help the group stay on task and all be involved. The jobs were Manager, Reporter, Recorder and Encourager. We then wrote a discussion with our ideas that we came up with.

In Art, we made clay Loch Ness Monsters. Children could choose what they wanted their Nessie to look like. We are going to paint them once they are dry. We also made Mother’s Day cards. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums!

In Numeracy, some children were multiplying 2-digit numbers by a single digit number using grids. We also practised multiplying by 10 and 100.

In PE, we created sequences in pairs using the gymnastics skills that we have been learning. They had to perform some movements together with our partner. W have been working on giving feedback related to the Steps to Success. Today we played Dodgeball.

We joined P2/3 to do Loose Parts on Tuesday which was great. Children played really well together.

This week in P3/4 we have been reading a folktale about the Loch Ness Monster.
