This week we enjoyed using the equipment in gymnastics. We practised rolling, balances and travelling. We gave each other feedback on how to improve.
We practised letters with tails in handwriting and looked for different sounds in our shared texts. We also enjoyed restocking the class library for ‘Drop Everything And Read’!
We started a block of personal writing and shared what we got up to on the holiday weekend.
In numeracy we are starting subtraction within 20 for some. Others are working beyond 20.
We have finished our ‘Newport At Leisure’ topic and we will be starting a science topic about genes and inheritance.
