Spring has started in P1/2. We have been looking for signs of spring in our playground and we have been writing a fact file too. We have all enjoyed the beautiful weather this week 🙂

In Art we have been learning how to make different tones of the same colour by adding black or white. We painted different shades of green leaves on trees. They look great!

In Science we have been learning all about “Wonderful Water”. We have predicted what we think will happen in a couple of experiments using water. Next week we will be learning how it can be a solid, a liquid and a gas.

In Maths, we have enjoyed learning about length and volume. Next week we will be exploring weight. We have also revisited fractions, addition and subtraction during our mental maths sessions.

A huge well done to all the ‘Newport’s Got Talent’ finalists. It was an amazing show 🙂
