Happy Friday!

I hope you have had a lovely restful holiday. We have all had a settled and fun first week back.

Primary 1 painted their hand prints and drew pictures of themselves. They look great on the classroom wall and will come home soon:-)

Primary 2 did a lovely piece of learning about their holidays. Lots of great writing and drawing.

We enjoyed Together Time on Wednesday. We got to meet all the classes and sing fun songs.

Outdoor Learning- Primary 1’s worked with their Primary 7 Buddy to collect a stick and turn it into a magic wand. They used lots of ribbons, glitter and sequins.
Primary 2 worked with the other Primary 2’s.

PE-We played some playground games. Our favourite game was ‘Clock on the Tower, What is the Hour?’. .

Literacy-
Primary 1 created a story map for the story ‘What the Ladybird Heard’. They also made a ladybird. These look great in our classroom.
Primary 2 had to correctly sequence the story ‘What the Ladybird Heard on Holiday’. They also had to think about what the ladybird was thinking and write ideas in a thinking bubble.
They made a lion from the story. These look great in our classroom.

Numeracy-We loved playing different number games.

We all enjoyed having the opportunity to explore the P1 and P2 classroom. This will happen every morning:-)
