Happy Friday!<\/p>\n
We had a fun and hard working first week back.<\/p>\n
Art- We drew beautiful flowers that we may find in our gardens. This is a job for a competition hosted by \u2018Newport in Bloom\u2019.<\/p>\n
Numeracy\/Maths- We have been working hard on our numbers to 20 learning. We have also been using lots of non standard units to measure different objects in our classroom.<\/p>\n
Literacy- We all enjoyed our new reading books this week. Our new final consonant blends were – lt and ld. We also were practising our letter formations. Our writing was a poster about different weathers.<\/p>\n
PE-We were taking part in different athletic stations- discus, shot putt, javelin and hurdles. We enjoyed running the mile.<\/p>\n
Outdoor Learning- We enjoyed some time exploring the bottom garden. As part of Earth Day we weeded some of the school garden and did a litter pick.<\/p>\n
French- We were learning the weather in French. This was lots of fun.<\/p>\n
Topic- We were learning about different clouds. We made a cloud view finder. This was lots of fun using it to identify clouds.<\/p>\n
