Today a group of children enjoyed two stories one called each peach pear plum and chocolate moose for greedy goose. The children identified that the stories were similar by having rhyming words.
Today Joni and Rosie enjoyed dancing expressively and playfully as they followed the gestures and movements from kids Zumba dance videos. They confidently followed the steps shown and knew when the next steps were coming by following the timer.
This morning the children demonstrated their creative skills to paint Christmas images such as a Robin, Snowman and Santa on Christmas cards. They listened to advice about not to mix up the colour so it allows their peers to be able to paint a picture afterwards. They also recalled the need to wait and share the brushes with peers. Afterwards when they are dry they will be developing their skills to write a message inside the card to give to someone special.
