We have continued our comprehension learning with Mrs Gaze and newspaper writing based on our class novel (Goldfish Boy) with Miss Chamberlain.<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" dir=\"ltr\"><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">Our focus in numeracy this week has been using column strategy to solve addition and subtraction. Our next step is to apply this learning to solve word pro<\/span><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">blems using the various strat<\/span><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">egies we have been learning. We have also been learning about coordinates with Mrs Gaze.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">With Mrs Scouller, we have continued learning about emotion works and are planning to share our Mr Men inspired stories with P1\/2\/3 next week! In PE, we\u00a0learned another Scottish Country Dance, which we are excited to share at shared learning on 1st December (9:10). We have also continued our learning about athletics, in preparation for the athletics competition next Wednesday.<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" dir=\"ltr\">We have been continuing our topic of forces this week, with a focus on learning about air resistance. We learned how to conduct a fair test, in order to test if parachutes that we made increased air resistance.\u00a0We also had our final drama lesson from Miss Trotter, in which we were learning about creating and playing different characters using the masks we made last week. We have really enjoyed having Miss Trotter teaching us drama and will miss her!<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" dir=\"ltr\">Hope you all have a lovely weekend!<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello everyone!
