What we do in the Learning Hub<\/h1>\n

Mrs Thomson, our PT of Support for Learning, works in our Learning Hub.\u00a0 It is a quiet learning space in the middle of our school which offers support to pupils over lunchtimes and at other parts of the day, as required.<\/p>\n

The Learning Hub is also used for targeted support groups to support our work in closing the attainment gap.<\/p>\n

Children who have lunch and supported play in the Hub enjoy different activities each day:<\/p>\n

Maker Monday<\/p>\n

Technical Tuesday<\/p>\n

We Build Wednesday<\/p>\n

Thinking Thursday<\/p>\n

Free Choice Friday<\/p>\n

Pupil Voice<\/h1>\n

Children in the hub have said:<\/p>\n

‘I like to play and make things’ (P3 pupil)<\/p>\n

‘It’s quiet and it helps me learn and focus’ (P5 pupil)<\/p>\n
