Unplanned Closures

To receive alerts for any unplanned closures please follow the guidance below:

• Long onto www.fifedirect.org.uk/alerts
• Click on Closure Alerts
• Click on School Closure Alerts and follow the instructions to register.
• Once you have registered click on Alert Services then

School Closure Alerts.

• From the lists of high schools, primaries and nurseries choose the ones you want to receive alerts about.
• Then go to the bottom and click on save.
• You can then sign out.
• Next time there is an unplanned closure you will be alerted by text as early as possible.
