Here you will find information about our class, our learning and homework. Please check our page on a weekly basis for the most up to date information.<\/p>\n

Our teacher is Mrs Quantick.<\/p>\n

We have 30 pupils in our class.<\/p>\n

PE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mr Cardus will take the class for PE on a Monday. Please come to school in your PE kit every Monday. PE lessons take place both indoors and outdoors so please remember to dress appropriately for the weather.<\/p>\n

HOMEWORK –\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

No homework over the October holidays!\u00a0 Have a lovely break!<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

LEARNING REVIEW<\/strong><\/p>\n

In ICT, on Sumdog, we completed a Term 1 revision task and then we completed a competition that Mrs Quantick has made for us.\u00a0 1st<\/sup> place went to Autumn, 2nd<\/sup> place was Cammy and 3rd<\/sup> place was Alex \u2013 well done!<\/p>\n

In Writing we created a character and described them.\u00a0 We tried to include a simile, we had to use ambitious vocabulary and adjectives and we had to describe the character through their actions.<\/p>\n

In Numeracy we did revision on rounding for estimating an answer and for number sequences.\u00a0 In Maths we linked the directions on a compass rose to angles.\u00a0 So from N to NE you turn 45 degrees, from N to E you turn 90 degrees etc.\u00a0 For each point on the compass rose it goes up by 45 degrees.<\/p>\n

We completed our Holes artwork.\u00a0 We were focusing on blending colours together from the same colour groups for the background.\u00a0 We added drawings of lizards, a jar of peaches and onions.\u00a0 We used pastels to shade our drawings.<\/p>\n

In P.E we were doing throwing techniques with Mr Cardus.\u00a0 We were focusing on over arm throws.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
