Here you will find information about our class, our learning and homework. Please check our page on a weekly basis for the most up to date information.<\/p>\n

Our teacher is Mrs Quantick.<\/p>\n

We have 30 pupils in our class.<\/p>\n

PE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mr Cardus will take the class for PE on a Monday. Please come to school in your PE kit every Monday. PE lessons take place both indoors and outdoors so please remember to dress appropriately for the weather.<\/p>\n

HOMEWORK – Due 21.9.26<\/strong><\/p>\n

This will be set on a Wednesday and will be due to be returned the following Monday. Check the website each week for more information regarding homework.<\/p>\n

If anyone has any spare Christmas wrapping paper from last year could your child please bring it in?\u00a0 We do not need full rolls but just odd pieces that can be cut into circles for the Christmas card designs.<\/p>\n

Reading was sent home on Wednesday to be completed by Monday.\u00a0 All pupils should have their book and reading records in their bags.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Spelling until Christmas will be in the purple booklet.\u00a0 Each week pupils will get a spelling list home and can choose one of the activities from the purple book to complete on the sheet provided.\u00a0 Pupils can hand the sheet in when it is full on both sides for marking.\u00a0 Peach sheets will be provided as required.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

LEARNING REVIEW<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yesterday (Thursday) we did Graffiti writing during our Learn With Us session.\u00a0 We learned that Graffiti is illegal and considered an act of vandalism.\u00a0 We focused on shading and we researched some street artists.\u00a0 Street Art is not illegal and is usually done on a wall or the side of a building.<\/p>\n

In ICT we were making a PowerPoint about a famous Scottish person as part of our Scotland VS France topic.\u00a0 The other half of the class were logging into Glow and changing their passwords.<\/p>\n

In P.E we were still working on baton relay races.\u00a0 We ran around the pitch and practiced passing the baton to the person in front of us using the correct technique which can be challenging.<\/p>\n

In handwriting we were focusing on descenders.\u00a0 Descenders are y, p, j, g and q.\u00a0 To practice our descenders we wrote the poem called \u2018On the Ning Nang Nong\u2019 by Spike Milligan.\u00a0 It had lots of descenders!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The photos below are pictures of the class enjoying an outdoor spelling lesson. It was such a lovely day that we took our spelling outside. The other photos are when we were completing our Scottish historical landmark posters.<\/p>\n
