Welcome to P7b we have 31 children in our class this year. We have created our UNCRC class charter and want our classroom to be a safe and happy place.\u00a0 Mr Cardus will be in class during Mrs Wilson’s non class contact time. Our PE day is a Wednesday and we hope to do some outdoor learning before we head off to Ardroy.<\/p>\n

All children\/adults have agreed to have their iPad each day with them in school as this is an additional learning tool. Please ensure iPads are fully charged overnight at home (100%)<\/em><\/strong> and NO chargers are brought into the school building.<\/p>\n

2026\/7 – Please continue to focus on your MULTIPLICATION TABLES. <\/strong>Even if your child knows all 12, the high school would like us to work on is quicker recall. At home could children download a free app on their device or go onto www.topmarks.co.uk and play Hit the Button.<\/p>\n

Focus on the table they are least confident with and try and beat their own score! If they did 5 minutes a day on their tables that would be fantastic.<\/p>\n

HOMEWORK – Reading homework<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reciprocal Reading Task plus set pages. lunes (Monday), martes (Tuesday), miercoles (Wednesday), jueves (Thursday) – reading will be issued on the day of the week and is due that day the following week.\u00a0 Please note – ALL READING BOOKS SHOULD BE IN THE CHILD\/REN’s BAGS EVERYDAY<\/strong> as we will also use these in class for various literacy tasks. It is their responsibility to make sure they have them each day.<\/p>\n

We are using the iPads more and more to complete our homework, the children are creating fabulous mind maps, sketching and summarising. Feel free to ask them to have a look at their work.<\/p>\n

All children will be logging into GLOW in class and will have had their passwords reset (if required, they will choose and reset to something they will remember).<\/p>\n

Getting practice at logging in and out of GLOW will support them on their transition journey to high school.<\/p>\n
