During winter there have been times when we have had to shut due to the severe weather. This is a rare occurrence but has happened in the past. If the school has to close the following channels will be used to convey this:<\/p>\n
Online<\/strong> \u2013 Visit www.fife.gov.uk<\/a> and click on \u2018Emergency Closures, Disruptions and Severe Weather\u2019 bar on the front page.<\/p>\n Groupcall<\/strong> \u2013 A Groupcall message will be sent out as soon as the decision to close has been made. This decision will be made as early as possible in the morning. A Groupcall message will also be sent out confirming when the school will re-open.<\/p>\n Facebook <\/strong>\u2013 The school facebook page will display a message.<\/p>\n Radio<\/strong> \u2013 Kingdom FM, Forth One and Tay FM.<\/p>\n If the school closes then information about activities to be carried out will either be on the school website (P.4-7 class pages) or on Seesaw (P.1-3). Teachers will ensure pupils have any information they need to be able to carry this out.<\/p>\n In the past we have been able to \u2018meet\u2019 with the pupils and carry out an assembly or read a story or just to check in. We intend to continue this.
