These menus have been designed to provide nutritious choices that ensure a balanced diet over the week.<\/p>\n<h2>How much does it cost?<\/h2>\n<p>All children in primary 1 to 5 receive free school meals.<\/p>\n<p>Your child may get\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fife.gov.uk\/kb\/docs\/articles\/education2\/schools-in-fife\/free-school-meals-and-school-clothing-grants\" data-refno=\"4263\">free school meals<\/a>\u00a0for primary 6 and 7. You must be on a low income or claim certain benefits.<\/p>\n<p>Meals cost \u00a32.60 for two courses. This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>main course &#8211; variety of hot or cold options, with daily vegetarian or vegan options<\/li>\n<li>sides &#8211; freshly prepared vegetable crudites or salad<\/li>\n<li>choice of soup or dessert<\/li>\n<li>drinks &#8211; milk or water is provided with every meal<\/li>\n<li>fresh fruit is available to all pupils who have school lunch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We also provide meals during the school holidays, via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fife.gov.uk\/kb\/docs\/articles\/benefits-and-money-advice\/cafe-inc\" data-refno=\"682558\">Caf\u00e9 Inc<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>All\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fifecouncil.mysaffronportal.com\/Menus\/\">nutritional and allergen information<\/a>\u00a0is available on our Wellbeing Portal.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fifecouncil.mysaffronportal.com\/Search\">Search for a dish name<\/a>\u00a0to see all relevant information about each dish.<\/p>\n<p>If your child has a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fife.gov.uk\/services\/form-pages\/request-a-specific-diet-for-your-child\" data-refno=\"684351\">specific diet<\/a>, we may be able to arrange alternative options for them.<\/p>\n<p>Visit our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fife.gov.uk\/kb\/docs\/articles\/education2\/schools-in-fife\/online-school-payments\" data-refno=\"4275\">Online school payments<\/a>\u00a0page for more information on how to order your meals.
