Information about school enrolment<\/strong><\/p>\n

Parents and carers enrolling their child for Primary one or looking to request a place for their child at another school, which isn\u2019t their catchment school, can now do this quickly and easily online.<\/p>\n

The online application<\/a> will be available for Academic Session 2026\/27 or P1 enrolments from January 2026. This system makes things easier for parents and carers to enrol and can be accessed 24\/7.<\/p>\n

The online application process for enrolling a child in August 2026 is open from Monday 5th January 2026. <\/strong><\/p>\n

All applications should be completed online before 23:59pm on 15 March 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you wish to submit a placing request application, you will have to apply before 23:59pm on 15 March 2026<\/strong>. Anyone who misses this deadline can still apply to their catchment school after this date.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

When accessing the Enrol a child into primary 1 form, you will be asked to log in or register for a mygov.scot \u201cmyaccount\u201d<\/a>. You will need this account throughout your child\u2019s education. Once you\u2019ve set this account up, you will then be able to enrol your child(ren) or make a placing request using the online form. As part of the online enrolment process parents\/carers will also be required to upload photos of verification documents in support of the application. These are:<\/p>\n
