Health and Wellbeing

At Limekilns Primary, we make use of several different resources to support our wellbeing.

The main way in which we support and develop wellbeing in class is through the Emotion Works programme.

You can find out more about Emotion Works here: Emotion Works

Online safety

Keeping our children safe online is a priority at Limekilns Primary.

In class, we use the Fife Progression in Information, Communication and Technology (PICT) to develop our understanding of the
importance of being safe online.

We also discuss how to behave online as part of our health and wellbeing learning.

More information about how to keep children safe online can be found here:

Mental Health

The HandsOn website (below) provides help and practical advice for supporting children and young people’s mental health and emotional wellbeing. This website is for parents, carers and people who work with children and young people in Fife.

Relationships and sexual health

The RSHP resource has been developed by a partnership of local authorities and health boards, with advice from Education Scotland and the Scottish Government. This will replace the ‘Living and Growing’ resource previously used in the school.
