How do I apply for a nursery and school place?

What are the school and nursery opening times? 

The school day for Primary 1- Primary 7 is from 9:00am until 3:00pm. Break time is from 10:40-11:00am and lunch is from 12:40-1:20pm.

The Nursery operates from 9:00am-3:00pm.

What to do if my child is going to be late for school or nursery? 

Call the office on (01383) 602420 and make school aware of the reason for lateness.

 What to do if my child has an appointment during the school day? 

Call the office on (01383) 602420 and make school aware of the appointment day and time.

 What to do if my child is absent?

Call the office on (01383) 602420 or email limekilnsps.enquiries@fife.gov.uk and make school aware of the absence and the reason for. Please do not use staff work email addresses or Seesaw.

Do parents pay for school meals?

School meals are free for Nursery-P5. No application is needed for this.

P6 and P7  children pay for school meals. School meals cost £2.40

Payment is preferred on www.ipayimpact.co.uk. It can also be made at the school office.

How can I pre-order school meals for my child?  

You can log onto ‘ipayimpact’ website (website below) and register to access your child’s account.

How do I order milk?

Notification is sent to all parents via our Groupcall system.

Milk can then be ordered via the school office and paid using Ipayimpact.

Milk is ordered and paid for each term.

What should my child wear to school? 

Blue jumper/ cardigan, white shirt or yellow  polo shirt, grey or black dress skirt, pinafore or trousers, and sensible shoes.

For gym or outdoor learning days, children can come to school wearing joggers/leggings/shorts, a plain t shirt, jumper and appropriate shoes. Please note that children should not wear football/rugby tops or crop tops to school.

Where can I buy school uniform for my child?

Recycling Uniform 

We have a lot of good quality used uniform. Please come into school and just help yourself. We also have a clothing recycling facility located in the staff car park and would encourage families to use this as this.

What do I do if my child has dietary requirement / allergy / develops an allergy to food?

 Go to: https://www.fife.gov.uk/kb/docs/articles/education2/schools-in-fife/school-meals to complete a Specific Dietary Requirement form, our kitchen staff will then be informed of your child’s requirement and will arrange to discuss with you how best to fulfil your child’s needs.

What do I do if my child is prescribed medication, they need to take during the school day? 

Please contact the office (01383) 602420 and fill in the correct form, hand in the medication to the school office for safe storage.
