School Improvement

At Limekilns Primary, we consider effective school improvement planning to be a continuous process of considering what is working well and what needs to improve.

When planning for improvement, we are guided by the following principles:

  • focus on a small number of well considered priorities
  • consider both our local context and the National Improvement Framework (NIF) when developing a plan that works for our children and families
  • take an evidence-based approach, including careful analysis of data of children’s progress to plan targeted interventions
  • ensure we collaborate with the whole school community to develop and evaluate plans

The School Improvement Plan sets out our improvement priorities for the current school year and the Standards and Quality Report evaluates our targets from last year.

The documents below will give you information about our progress and developments.
