Our School

Leslie Primary School was built in the 1960s to house the growing, post war, baby boom. Until 2013, Leslie had a stand-alone nursery, however this was closed, and the nursery moved into the school. Leslie has a strong sense of community. The school has partnerships with local businesses which provide purposeful learning experiences. Examples of this include the Leslie Community Pantry, Leslie Golf Club and Leslie Bowling Club. The community work with us to promote access to food, white goods, support services, safety and village celebrations, e.g Gala. There are several farms that surround the West of Leslie, and we work in partnership with a farmer and a local garden nursery to support our curriculum and develop skills for life, learning and work.

We have 8 classes from P1 – P7 and currently have a roll of 204 primary pupils and 51 nursery pupils.
