There are extensive grounds for the children to play and learn in. The nursery roll has a capacity of 30 with an extensive and well developed outside space.<\/p>\n<p>Within the main school there are, at present, eight open teaching areas.\u00a0 Each teaching area has a small side room adjacent where the class can meet together and shut the door.\u00a0 We have a large multipurpose hall which is used extensively throughout the week for P.E., drama, music, assemblies, school productions, having lunch and after school clubs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to Lawhead Primary School and Nursery Lawhead Primary opened in 1974 and is situated on the periphery of St Andrews close to the western section of the Ladebraes Walk.\u00a0 It is an open plan building and has a nursery within the building with outside garden space.
