Children learn actively in eight different curricular areas following a curriculum designed by each school to reflect their particular needs and circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>All schools follow the same principles in designing the curriculum, aimed at ensuring that children have the experiences and opportunities to become:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Successful Learners<\/li>\n<li>Confident Individuals<\/li>\n<li>Effective Contributors<\/li>\n<li>Responsible Citizens<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Literacy &amp; English, Numeracy &amp; Maths and Health and Wellbeing are addressed throughout the curriculum as our core subjects. Children&#8217;s wider achievements are fully recognised and celebrated, reflecting the value given to wider learning and children\u2019s experiences out of school.<\/p>\n<p>Children are consulted throughout their learning and in decisions about what they learn and how they learn it.
