The 3rd Kirkcaldy PALS Battalion have left Kirkcaldy High School to catch the ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam. The PALS and their officers are in good spirits as we embark on our journey to the western front. We have all been fed and watered and now have some free time to relax. We are now making the journey to our accommodation in Belgium with some stops along the way. Our young people are sleepy but looking forward to officially beginning their WW1 Battlefields experience! Our young people have their own self contained apartment with an upstairs!
