MONDAY 28 AUGUST<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Hot Meal:<\/strong> Vegetable soup, Macaroni cheese with garlic bread or Chicken fired rice with curry sauce.<\/p>\n

History Krakow Trip June 2024 (Miss Dalziel & Mrs Harrower)<\/strong>
\nAny pupils in S4 and S5 who are interested in coming on the trip next June but missed the meeting on Friday, should come and collect an information letter at the start of this week from myself or Mrs Harrower.<\/p>\n

Maths Ambassador (Emma, Natalie & Kaitlin, S6)<\/strong>
\nIf you are in S5-S6 and have an interest in Maths, want to educate younger years or make maths more enjoyable.\u00a0 We have an opportunity for you! Meeting in B1 today at break. Please come along and sign up to be a Maths Ambassador!<\/p>\n

Paris Trip Meeting (Mrs Morris\/Miss Coggill)<\/strong>
\nCan all pupils who are going on the Paris trip, please attend an essential meeting on Tuesday 29 August at 1:15pm in C9. Can any pupils who are unable to attend ensure that they make either Miss Coggill or Mrs Morris aware.<\/p>\n

S6 Yearbook Committee (Miss Lipton)<\/strong>
\nFor all those S6 who had shown an interest in being part of this years Yearbook Committee or any other S6 who would like to be involved – there will be a meeting Tuesday 29 August at 1:15pm in D9 Business. If you can’t make it but still want to be involved see Miss Lipton to be added to the team.<\/p>\n

S1&2 Learn to Play Flute (Ms Clark)<\/strong>
\nAny pupils who would like to learn to play the flute please come and see Ms Clark in E12 on Wednesday 30 August at breaktime for more information. See you there!<\/p>\n

S5\/S6 EMA (Mrs Cook)<\/strong>
\nIf you have applied and been approved for EMA, please bring your completed Learning Agreement form to the school office. We cannot proceed with any payments until this has been done. If you have still to apply, please do this as soon as you can. Any applications received by Fife Council after 30 September 2023 cannot be backdated and you will only be paid from the date the application is received. Please remember you also need to make a new application each academic year.<\/p>\n

Chess Club (Dr Black)<\/strong>
\nChess club runs Monday lunchtimes in A6, 1:10-1:40pm. Beginners to Grand masters welcome. Collect a lunchtime pass from Dr Black if you would like to come along.<\/p>\n

Anime and Manga Club (Miss Kelsey)<\/strong>
\nAnybody interested in watching, drawing, and\/or reading anime and manga, can now attend the anime and manga club every Monday lunchtime in B29.<\/p>\n

S1&2 Girls’ Football (Mrs Steedman)<\/strong>
\nTraining will run on Monday 3:30-4:15pm. Absolutely anyone is welcome! Make sure you bring a change of kit with you!<\/p>\n

Basketball & Badminton Club (Mr Harrower)<\/strong>
\nBasketball and Badminton clubs will start on Monday afterschool in the Games Hall from 3:15-4:15pm. All pupils in S1-S6 welcome.<\/p>\n

TUESDAY 29 AUGUST<\/strong><\/h1>\n

LGBT+ Group (Dr Murray)<\/strong>
\nThe LGBT+ Group meets on Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science). It is a social space open to EVERYONE whether you are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, any other identity, or an ally of the community. See Dr Murray for a pass if you want to come. Bring your lunch!<\/p>\n

Enterprising Maths Club (Mr Jones)<\/strong>
\nAre you good at maths? Would you like to represent the school in maths competitions? All S1-S4’s are welcome to come Enterprising Maths Club, every Tuesday lunchtime in C3.<\/p>\n

KHS Glee Club (Mrs Duckett)<\/strong>
\nKHS Glee Club with Mrs Duckett and Mr Wilkie begins today after school, 3:15pm – 4:15pm in E10. No auditions, anyone who is interested in trying out singing in a show choir is welcome!
