Dress Down Day<\/strong>
\nFriday is a dress down day.\u00a0 Please pay \u00a31 in tutor or whatever you can afford.\u00a0 No football colours or inappropriate clothing!<\/p>\n

Friday Arrangements (Mrs Davidson)<\/strong>
\nThanks to the Pupil Leadership Team and Dr Murray for organising a Talent Show for the last day. Arrangements as follows:<\/p>\n

Pupils in class for Tutor and Pd 1\/2
\nBreak – 10.25-10.50am
\nTalent Show 1 – Pupils go to Pd 3 class. 11.00-11.50am approx, pupils go to class, leave bags etc and staff bring them to the hall. This is for S3\/6
\nTalent Show 2- Pupils go to Pd 4 class. 12.00-12.50pm approx, pupils go to class, leave bags etc and staff bring them to the hall. This is for S2\/4\/5
\nLunch – 1.00pm
\nPupils in class Pd 6\/7<\/p>\n

Medication (Mrs Waddell)<\/strong>
\nCan any pupil who has medication held in school, please collect it when you leave school for the summer. It will require to be brought back updated as necessary at the start of the term.<\/p>\n

Hot Meal Menu (Miss Lister)<\/strong>
\nThursday 29 June will be fish and chip day instead of the Friday. Friday 30 June will now be steak pie. The rest of the menu will stay the same. This is only for this week.<\/p>\n

Talent Show Rehearsals (Liam Ritchie, S6)<\/strong>
\nThank you to all who auditioned for the talent show last week. We would like all those who are confirmed to be in the show to meet Friday first period in the Hall for a full rehearsal. Any questions or concerns, please speak to Miss Samfat who will forward your questions on to us.<\/p>\n

S5\/S6 EMA Applications 2023\/24 (Mrs Cook)<\/strong>
\nAny S5\/6 pupils who may be eligible for EMA can apply on the Fife Council website around the middle of July. If successful, an EMA Learning Agreement will be posted out to your home address. Please complete form and return to Mrs Cook in the office. Please note – if you were eligible last year you have to re-apply.<\/p>\n

Fitzgerald Trust Award Scheme (Mrs McNab)<\/strong>
\nApplications for this funding are welcomed from all S5 & S6 pupils residing in Kirkcaldy. You will receive instructions via Tutor on how to apply. All applications will be done online this year by using the link or QR code provided. Please submit applications by 8 September 2023.<\/p>\n

Guess the number of sweets in the jar (Miss Coggill)<\/strong>
\nThere will be pupils visiting classes this week raising money for our upcoming Paris 2024 trip. We will be running a guess the number of sweets in the jar (all placed in the jar by myself whilst wearing gloves) competition and one lucky winner who is closest to the amount inside the jar will get to keep it. If anyone is interested in taking part, please try and bring change this week. The winner will be announced on Friday. Bonne chance !<\/p>\n

Music Lessons (Mrs Duckett)<\/strong>
\nAll pupils receiving lessons from Fife Music Service must use the Instrument Drop-Off Room (first practice room on right) to store their instrument for the day. Instruments are not to be left lying about in any of the music classrooms or E11.<\/p>\n

S6 Hoodies (Miss Lipton)<\/strong>
\nPlease remember to submit your S6 Leaver Hoodie order – \u00a320 each – \u00a35 deposit required to secure.<\/p>\n

DYW Padlet (Mr Dick)<\/strong>
\nA lot of pupils will be looking to gain some work experience, this is a great opportunity to give you a flavour of the world of work and ‘try out’ a profession. If this is something, you are interested in there is a form to complete on the Padlet. There is also a great opportunity for any S5 pupils who are looking to study medicine. For anyone looking to leave school there are a number of vacancies including – apprenticeships in Admin, at Scotrail, Exxon, Babcock and Sky Television advertised. As well as a range of part and full time jobs.<\/p>\n

Calm Colouring Lunch Club (Ms Geddes\/Miss Millar)<\/strong>
\nIf you would like a calm space to have lunch and do a bit of colouring, with the option to chat through any questions with our Mental Health Ambassadors, then this is the club for you! Head along to A3 (Science) where Miss Millar and Ms Geddes will have all the resources you need to chill out and recharge for the afternoon ahead. Today from 1:10pm.<\/p>\n

Gardening Club – Thursday Lunch (Mrs Brown)<\/strong>
\nIf you enjoy a bit of gardening, and you’d like to help to maintain and improve our school garden, then please bring your lunch and meet me in the Serenity Garden, and\/ or meet me after school 3:20-3:50pm. Gardening is a great way to relax and learn new skills.<\/p>\n

\nThe Wind Band will take place on Friday lunchtime in E13\/Dance Studio.<\/p>\n

Health Zone Drop In (Mrs Davidson)<\/strong>
\nEvery Friday lunchtime, the school nurse team run a confidential drop in session. They are situated behind the careers room opposite the main office.<\/p>\n

S2 Reading Group (Miss Britton)<\/strong>
\nS2 Reading Group during Friday lunchtimes in room B23. It’s a chance to practice reading out loud.<\/p>\n

Have Lunch with A Hero! (Mrs Brown)<\/strong>
\nThe Rock stars as Hercules in this tale of good vs evil – but it’s not always easy to tell who to trust! All are welcome to come along to C11 with their lunch to see this movie. Please see me for a pass in advance.<\/p>\n
