S6 Buddies (Mrs Davidson)<\/strong>
\nCan all S6 who volunteered to be buddies on Thursday and Friday, please attend a short meeting today during tutor in the Assembly Hall. You must register first then come to the hall.<\/p>\n

Leadership Opportunities (Miss Hay)<\/strong>
\nThanks to all who have expressed interest in the various leadership opportunities. Your names have now been passed onto the relevant staff link and they will be in touch in due course.<\/p>\n

S6 Leadership Award (Ms Bruce)<\/strong>
\nI’ve created a Leadership Award TEAM for those completing the Leadership Award next session with me. If you are interested in completing the award, there’s still time to sign up! Those interested should attend a short meeting on Monday during Tutor in Studio 4 so that I can go over a few things with you and make sure you all have access to the group.<\/p>\n

S6 House Captains Interviews (Miss Lipton)<\/strong>
\nHouse Captain Interviews will take place this Thursday 15th & Friday 16th June – appointment slips can be found in tutor folders & list of times can be found outside Mrs Davidson’s office. Good Luck!<\/p>\n

Young Leadership Pathway Applications (Mr Greenhorn)<\/strong>
\nThese are now open for pupils at KHS. Emails have been sent home to all parents\/carers with all the key info. We have 27 applications submitted so far. The deadline is Friday 16 June, 5pm.<\/p>\n

Edinburgh Pride – Saturday 24 June (Dr Murray) \ud83c\udff3\ufe0f\u200d\ud83c\udf08\ud83c\udff3\ufe0f\u200d\u26a7\ufe0f<\/strong>
\nA group from KHS will be attending Edinburgh Pride<\/strong> on Saturday 24 June<\/strong>, leaving Kirkcaldy at about 10:30am and returning sometime after 3:30pm.\u00a0 Prides are for ANYONE who want to celebrate equality and diversity and\/or wants to protest about the remaining inequalities in the world.\u00a0 We will join the march before spending some time in the Youth Zone, run by our friends at LGBT Youth Scotland.\u00a0 If you want to go, collect a permission form from Dr Murray!<\/p>\n

\nThe Equality Group exists to tackle all sorts of inequality such as sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, disablism, and other variations. Joining this group is a great way to actually change things at KHS. We meet in A4 every Wednesday lunchtime. Bring your lunch!<\/p>\n

S1-S3 Maths Support Group (Mr Jones)<\/strong>
\nNeed help with maths homework? Stuck on something you’ve looked at in lessons? Come along to the S1-S3 maths support group, every Wednesday lunchtime (1:05-1:40pm). Bring your lunch, bring your questions.<\/p>\n

Guitar Ensemble (Mrs Simpson)<\/strong>
\nThe Guitar Ensemble will take place on Wednesday lunchtime in E13.<\/p>\n

S2-S3 Music Lunch Club (Mrs Duckett)<\/strong>
\nThis now takes place in E10 every day of the week, except Wednesdays.<\/p>\n

String Group (Mrs Simpson)<\/strong>
\nThe String Group will take place on Thursday lunchtime in E13.<\/p>\n

Calm Colouring Lunch Club (Ms Geddes\/Miss Millar)<\/strong>
\nIf you would like a calm space to have lunch and do a bit of colouring, with the option to chat through any questions with our Mental Health Ambassadors, then this is the club for you! Head along to A3 (Science) where Miss Millar and Ms Geddes will have all the resources you need to chill out and recharge for the afternoon ahead. Today from 1:10pm.<\/p>\n

Gardening Club – Thursday Lunch (Mrs Brown)<\/strong>
\nIf you enjoy a bit of gardening, and you’d like to help to maintain and improve our school garden, then please bring your lunch and meet me in the Serenity Garden, and\/ or meet me after school 3:20-3:50pm. Gardening is a great way to relax and learn new skills.<\/p>\n
