Tempest Photographs (Mrs Spence)<\/strong>
\nWe have had the first delivery of photographs ordered from Tempest Photography. Please ask at reception during interval or lunch<\/strong> if you have ordered a photo.<\/p>\n

RYLA Camp 2023 (J Davidson)<\/strong>
\nAny S5 pupil interested in finding out more about this fantastic opportunity, please see Mrs Davidson today! The S6 pupils who attended are doing a presentation next week to Rotary and will share this with you this week.<\/p>\n

SHE Scotland Programme (Mrs Kerek)<\/strong>
\nAll S2 girls participating in the SHE SCOTLAND PROGRAMME this term should attend sessions this Wednesday afternoon – S2’s period 6 and S3\/4’s period 7 – Registers will be taken there so no need to go to classes first. See Mrs Kerek with any queries.<\/p>\n

Fashion & Textiles Study Support (Mrs Donaldson)<\/strong>
\nNo study support tonight as its Parents’ Evening. Resumes as normal next week.<\/p>\n

U14 Football (Mr Geissler)<\/strong>
\nU14 football training is cancelled tonight due to the S2 Parents’ Evening. Training will resume next week on Wednesday after school.<\/p>\n

S5 Pupils – Safe Drive, Stay Alive (Mrs Thompson)<\/strong>
\nAll S5 pupils will be attending Safe Drive, Stay Alive on Monday 14 November during periods 6 and 7. At the end of lunch all pupils need to register with their period 6 teacher and then head straight down to the Assembly Hall.<\/p>\n

Children in Need (S5\/S6 Travel & Tourism Class)<\/strong>
\nOn Thursday 17 November we will be holding a dress down day to help support \u2018Children in Need\u2019. We would appreciate if everyone could hand in One Pound or whatever you can afford in tutor on the Thursday. There will be Pudsey Merch available to buy, and different games like, \u2018Guess Pudsey\u2019s Birthday\u2019 and \u2018How Many Balloons in The Mini Bus\u2019. All money raised will be going towards Children in Need.<\/p>\n

\nMrs McMahon’s class (S37B) and Miss Collins class (S37A) are invited to come along to D2\/4 on Thursday 10 November for period 6 and 7 to watch author and chef, Wendy Barrie, do a Cooking Demo. Please ensure that your timetabled subject teacher has marked you as ‘present’ for period 6 before making your way down to the HE dept.<\/p>\n

Remembrance Day Poppies (Dr Murray)<\/strong>
\nEvery year in the days leading up to Remembrance Day on the 11 November, many people choose to wear poppies as a symbol to remember those who have lost their lives in conflicts around the world and those who have been killed as a result of terrorism.\u00a0 Remembrance Day marks the day World War One ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918.\u00a0 The reason poppies are used to remember those who have given their lives in battle is because they are the flowers which grew on the battlefields after World War One ended.\u00a0 If you would like to wear a poppy, they are available from the Prefect Base at reception for free or a small donation if you are able.<\/p>\n
