Please ask at reception <strong>during interval or lunch<\/strong> if you have ordered a photo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Children in Need (S5\/S6 Travel &amp; Tourism Class)<\/strong><br \/>\nOn Thursday 17 November we will be holding a dress down day to help support \u2018Children in Need\u2019. We would appreciate if everyone could hand in One Pound or whatever you can afford in tutor on the Thursday. There will be Pudsey Merch available to buy, and different games like, \u2018Guess Pudsey\u2019s Birthday\u2019 and \u2018How Many Balloons in The Mini Bus\u2019. Please ensure that your timetabled subject teacher has marked you as &#8216;present&#8217; for period 6 before making your way down to the HE dept.<\/p>\n<p><strong>S4 Admin &amp; IT Study Support (Mrs Wood)<\/strong><br \/>\nThis starts, Thursday 10 November in Mrs Wood&#8217;s room, D10, 3:15-4:15 pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remembrance Day Poppies (Dr Murray)<\/strong><br \/>\nEvery year in the days leading up to Remembrance Day on the 11 November, many people choose to wear poppies as a symbol to remember those who have lost their lives in conflicts around the world and those who have been killed as a result of terrorism.\u00a0 Remembrance Day marks the day World War One ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918.\u00a0 The reason poppies are used to remember those who have given their lives in battle is because they are the flowers which grew on the battlefields after World War One ended.\u00a0 If you would like to wear a poppy, they are available from the Prefect Base at reception for free or a small donation if you are able.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DYW Padlet (Mrs Whyte)<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Padlet has been updated.
