\nThere will be a meeting today in E2 at break to discuss the trip all must attend.<\/p>\n

Senior Boys’ Football (Mr Pennel\/Mr Stewart)<\/strong>
\nThere will be a senior boy’s football team meeting this morning interval in the Boys’ Gym. This is about a potential game next week.<\/p>\n

S6 UCAS Sessions (Mrs Sim)<\/strong>
\nS6 applying to UCAS (and any S5 intending on applying early for next September), please scan the QR code below to register for the two events next week that you must attend if you plan on applying. Tuesday period 6 you will be attending a session from Lift Off to help you with your personal statements, and then Thursday period 1 you will be signing up for the UCAS website. See Mrs Sim if you have any questions.

Paige’s Musical Butterflies (Mrs Wood)<\/strong>
\nPaige Dougall’s family have set up a charity called ‘Paige’s Musical Butterflies’ in her memory. You can purchase charity merchandise in the PSO base until the end of this term. At the end of term, we will be having a dress down day which will raise funds for the charity.

S6 Yearbook (Miss Lipton)<\/strong>
\nThe Yearbook committee have assigned you a task in the S5-S6 Year Group Team. We need your 100 Parting Word statement for the book which should be a reflection of your time here at KHS – what you loved, what you’ll miss etc. Please be sensible with this, anything inappropriate will be removed.<\/p>\n

Please sign these at the end & submit before Friday 7 October 2022 – any issues please see Mrs Czudek, Mr I’Anson or Miss Lipton asap.<\/p>\n

S3-S6 Future Asset Competition (Miss Nessel)<\/strong>
\nPupils who have signed up to the competition and attended the meeting a few weeks ago have been emailed by Miss Nessel (Tuesday 13th). You have been sent a permission form which needs to be filled in electronically or on paper and returned to Miss Nessel, as well as a online form to be filled. Both need to be completed ASAP. S3 Parents’\/Carers’ Evening In School – Wednesday 28 September – PEBS (Mrs Noone)<\/strong>

Hispanic Heritage Month (Alisha Ahmad – Equalities Group)<\/strong>
\nFrom the 15 September to 15 October, it is Hispanic Heritage Month. If you have time in tutor over the next month you might want to ask your teacher to watch the following video (or you could watch yourself) which explain Hispanic Heritage Month and the history behind it. You’ll want to watch from the start up to 3 minutes 30 seconds.<\/p>\n
