WEDNESDAY 31 AUGUST<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Hot Meal: <\/strong>Soup of the day, Chicken korma or Vegetable korma, boiled rice and naan bread.<\/p>\n

UCAS Discovery Convention (Mrs Sim)<\/strong>
\nAll S6 will be attending the UCAS discovery convention at the Rothes Halls in Glenrothes on Wednesday the 7 September. Coaches will be leaving at 12:15pm from the bus lane and you will return to school before buses leave at the end of the day.<\/p>\n

You must<\/strong> ensure you have registered for the event. Most will have done this on the S6 induction day. If you do not have a ticket in your emails, please see Mrs Sim.<\/p>\n

If you are in S5 and are considering going to university next year, you may wish to attend this event. If this is the case for you, please see your guidance teacher.<\/p>\n

If you require lunch from the dinner hall, please order this either during breakfast club or at interval in order to collect this before you leave. Free soup will also be available.<\/p>\n

Consent forms are in your tutor folder. Please return this to Mrs Sim or Mrs Thompson by the end of the day on Friday 2 September.<\/strong><\/p>\n

S4-S6 Netball (Miss Kirkwood)<\/strong>
\nIf you are interested in a beginner coaching workshop and\/or an introduction to umpiring, please come down to the PE notice board to scan the QR code to sign up.<\/p>\n

S6 London Trip (Mr Sanderson)<\/strong>
\nAll pupils who have paid a deposit for the S6 trip to London please attend a short meeting at break time today<\/strong> (Wednesday) in B9. Any questions please see Mr Sanderson ASAP.<\/p>\n

Fife Shakespeare Festival (Ms Bruce)<\/strong>
\nThere is still time to get involved in the Fife Shakespeare Festival, this year we will be performing a 30 minute version of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. Group auditions will take place on Wednesday afterschool 3:15-4:30pm so please come along if you’d like to take part!<\/p>\n

S2 Football Training (Mr Geissler)<\/strong>
\nS2 football training will take place today<\/strong> after school on the Astroturf. Meet in the PE department for a 3:30pm start.<\/p>\n

S1 & S2 Netball (Mrs Steedman)<\/strong>
\nAll S1 and S2 girl’s interested in playing netball this year training will be afterschool every Thursday starting this week from 3:30-4:15pm.<\/p>\n

S3 & Senior Netball (Mrs Steedman)<\/strong>
\nAll S3 pupils and Senior pupils (S4-S6) interested in playing netball this year, training will be afterschool every Wednesday starting next week (7th) from 3:30-4:15pm.<\/p>\n

Medicine, Dentistry and Vet Med Applicants 2023 (Mrs Sim)<\/strong>
\nPlease can those S6 applying for the above courses for September 2023 entry attend a meeting with Mrs Sim on Friday 2 September at 1:15pm in the Boardroom.<\/p>\n

MVP Mentors Meeting (Miss Dalziel)<\/strong>
\nAll pupils who volunteered to be an MVP Mentor before the summer holidays should attend a meeting at the end of the Year Group Assembly, in the Assembly Hall on Friday 2 September. Information will be shared to all pupils.<\/p>\n

S6 Leadership Award (Ms Bruce)<\/strong>
\nIf you signed up for the Leadership Award during the S6 Induction days in June, you have been added to the Leadership Award TEAM on Glow. If you think you have been added in error, please let me know. If you are in S6 and would like to undertake this award, there is still time to get signed up, just pop along to Studio 4 if you would like any more information about it. The first task\/assignment will be issued this week.<\/p>\n

Fitzgerald Trust Scheme \u2013 2022\/2023 (Mrs Spence)<\/strong>
\nApplication forms are available at reception for S5 and S6 pupils. Closing Date – Friday 9 September 2022.<\/p>\n

S5-S6 EMA (Mrs Geddes)<\/strong>
\nIf you have applied and been approved for EMA, please bring you completed Learning Agreement to the school office. We cannot proceed with any payments until this has been done. If you have still to apply, please do this as soon as you can. Any applications received by Fife Council after 30 September 2022 cannot be backdated and you will only be paid from the date the application is received. Please remember you also need to make a new application each academic year.<\/p>\n
