It was lovely evening and a fitting send off for the &#8220;Class of 2022&#8221;. Congratulations to all the prize winners. Special thanks to Mrs Davidson, who put all the arrangements in place to make sure things went smoothly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Buddy Meeting (Mr Young)<\/strong><br \/>\nThere will be a buddy meeting <strong>today<\/strong> at break in the Assembly Hall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>U18\/Senior Football (Mr Pennel)<\/strong><br \/>\nAll boys who would like to be considered for the Senior Football team next year should attend a meeting at break in the Boys&#8217; Gym.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New S4 Pupils &#8211; Lift Off (Miss Nessel)<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you attended either\/both of the Lift Off meetings with Abertay recently, you need to fill in an application form to take part this year. This has been emailed home to your parents\/carers. However, if you haven&#8217;t filled this in yet, come to Miss Nessel&#8217;s room (D8) <strong>today<\/strong> at lunch time to complete this.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New S5: Washington Trip (Miss Young)<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Social Subjects Dept are running a trip to Washington in September 2023. This will be during the mid-term elections therefore a very exciting time to attend! Trips will include the White House, Capitol Building, MLK memorial and various museums. We will also attend a sporting event such as a baseball or basketball game. If you are interested please attend a meeting <strong>today<\/strong> at break in B14 for a permission slip and deposit info.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duke of Edinburgh &#8211; S6 Bronze (Miss Wallace)<\/strong><br \/>\nFor those who have completed their permission slips for the upcoming expedition, there will be a training session to cover expectations for the trip on Wednesday 22 June at 3:20pm for approx. an hour in B10. Please let Miss Wallace know if unable to attend, as outdoor first aid basics and outdoor cooking will be a part of the training.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stellar Quines Theatre Company (Miss Osborne)<\/strong><br \/>\nCalling all women, trans and non binary new S2s! After working together a few weeks ago, Sam and Rachel from Stellar Quines Theatre Company are inviting you to come to a session on Wednesday 22 June at 1:45-3:15pm where we will explore further how you can share and use your voice, thoughts and ideas. Tickets can be purchased by logging into iPayimpact &#8211; go to &#8216;Accounts&#8217; then &#8216;Shop&#8217;. You can then pick up tickets at the school reception. Tickets can also be purchased using cash at the school office in addition to the iPayimpact option. Alternatively you can pick up a ticket on the evening of the show subject to availability.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DYW Padlet (Mrs Whyte)<\/strong><br \/>\nThis week on the Padlet there are Apprenticeships in NHS Fife as a Pharmacy Technicians. If you are thinking of a job in medicine there are also upcoming Medicine Open days at St Andrews and Aberdeen; we have school contacts for other experiences. Lots of local businesses are hiring including B &amp; M, Young Spuds, Lidl and in Care roles. Mrs Whyte is happy to help with finding work placements or helping you look for a positive destination when you leave school.
