S1\/S2 First Chances (Mr Spink)<\/strong>
\nThe First Chances Coordinator from University of St Andrews is coming into school today to talk to S1 and S2 pupils at the following times\/places:<\/p>\n

S2 – Period 6, C14 (Mr Spink)
\nS1 – Period 7, C12 (Ms Mahr)<\/p>\n

Please make sure you go to register with your class teacher first and arrive promptly!<\/p>\n

Drama Study Support (Mr McPherson)<\/strong>
\nDrama study support is on after school today, 3:15-4:45pm in Mr McPherson’s room.<\/p>\n

Little Shop of Horrors (Mr McPherson)<\/strong>
\nThis week on there is a whole cast rehearsal on Wednesday including Ensemble so please make an effort to attend. Check Teams to see when individual rehearsals are.<\/p>\n

Those who signed up for or would be interested in helping with; hair and make-up, costume, and props for the show should attend a meeting on Wednesday after school in Mr McPherson’s room, to be given roles and duties.<\/p>\n

\nThanks to a generous benefactor, I have 2 free places at Tinto Summer Music School available.\u00a0 It’s folk\/traditional music focussed but you don’t need any experience and all instruments\/abilities are welcome.\u00a0 Find out more on the Tinto Website<\/a> and come by A4 if you’re interested!<\/p>\n

S1\/S2 First Chances (Miss Nessel)<\/strong>
\nYou will have received a permission slip in tutor for a First Chances trip on Thursday 24\u00a0March. Please return the permission slip to Miss Nessel in D8 ASAP. You can also return this via the tutor folder.<\/p>\n

S3 First Chances (Miss Nessel)<\/strong>
\nYou will have received a letter in tutor about your first in person event with First Chances. Please return the slip to me ASAP, either in D8 or via the tutor folder. Also, you will be presenting your power points on Wednesday 23\u00a0March between 9-12. You will be doing this in the library. It will be closed to everyone except us. Any issues, see me, Mrs Dempsey or Ms Bruce.<\/p>\n

Dance Study Support (Miss Kirkwood)<\/strong>
\nThere is Dance study support available for National 5 and Higher pupils with SQA exams to work on choreography. Please feel free to come down to PE at lunch and after school any day prior to your exam.<\/p>\n

Red Nose Day Fundraising (S3 Personal Development Class)<\/strong>
\nThe S3 Personal Development class are doing some fundraising for Red Nose Day 2022, which is on Friday 18 March. We have organised a whole school quiz that will take place on Monday 14 March, and Friday 18 March. Prizes for the winners will include vouchers from McDonald\u2019s, Bob and Bert\u2019s, Subway and Greens. Answer sheets will be given out on the 2 days the quiz is taken place and winners announced the following week. If you wish to take part then you can pay the entry fee of \u00a31 to your tutor teacher on Monday 14 March.<\/p>\n

We are also running a raffle for the chance to win a walk with Lexi which will happen period 4 at the end of the week, this raffle is only available to S1 & S2 pupils and tickets can be bought for 50p each, every morning break time Monday-Thursday outside the dinner hall. The winners will be announced on in tutor Friday 18 March and the 12 lucky people will meet in Mr Geissler\u2019s room (B2 Maths corridor) at the start of period 4.<\/p>\n

A guess the cupcake competition will also be running at the same time as the raffle. It will be \u00a32 a turn with the winner receiving a prize of \u00a330 cash!<\/p>\n

LGBT+ Group (LGBT+ Committee)<\/strong>
\nThe legendary and amazing LGBT+ Group meets every Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) for anyone who wants to have a nice place to sit and enjoy their lunch, get to know other people, make badges and make keyrings. EVERYONE and ANYONE is welcome, hope to see you there!<\/p>\n

KHS Community Choir (Mrs Duckett)<\/strong>
\nThis will run on Tuesdays after school in the Assembly Hall, 3:15-4:15pm.<\/p>\n

Badminton Club (Mr Harrower)<\/strong>
\nBadminton club will be on afterschool on Tuesday in the Games Hall (3:15-4:15pm).\u00a0All pupils from S1-S6 are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n

S1 Football (Mr Pennel)\u00a0<\/strong>
\nS1 football will run on Tuesday afterschool (3:30-4:30pm). Training will be on the Astro so bring appropriate footwear if possible.<\/p>\n

Girls\u2019 Football (Miss Steedman)<\/strong>
\nGirls\u2019 football training will run on Tuesday afterschool (3:30-4:15pm). Everyone interested in playing in S1 and S2 is welcome along.<\/p>\n

Young STEM Leader (Miss Tennant)<\/strong>
\nYoung STEM Leader sessions will take place every Tuesday from 3:15-4:15pm in A7.<\/p>\n

S1-S3 Maths Homework Support (Mr Jones)<\/strong>
\nMaths homework club with Mr Jones will run weekly every Wednesday lunchtime (1:15-1:40pm) for pupils in S1 to S3. Grab your lunch first and come along to C3 for homework support.<\/p>\n

Homework Club (Mrs Patton)<\/strong>
\nHomework club will be running each Wednesday in C6 from 3:20-4:10pm for all year groups, all subjects.<\/p>\n

Equalities Group (Ms Mahr)<\/strong>
