Welcome to the Week (Mr Allan)<\/strong>
\nThere are no assemblies this week. This Friday is Red Nose Day, please get involved in the quizzes, raffles etc and the “Dress Down Day” on Friday. Have a good week ahead everyone.<\/p>\n

S1\/2 Girls’ Football (Miss Steedman)<\/strong>
\nCan all players attend a meeting in the PE classroom at break today.<\/p>\n

College\/Foundation Apprenticeship Applications (J Davidson)<\/strong>
\nOne last session with help from college. Anyone who has chosen College\/FA in their course course for next year or interested in applying for fulltime courses from Sept should come to D8 at the start of Pd 6.<\/p>\n

S1\/S2 First Chances (Miss Nessel)<\/strong>
\nYou will have received a permission slip in tutor for a First Chances trip on Thursday 24\u00a0March. Please return the permission slip to Miss Nessel in D8 ASAP. You can also return this via the tutor folder.<\/p>\n

S3 First Chances (Miss Nessel)<\/strong>
\nYou will have received a letter in tutor about your first in person event with First Chances. Please return the slip to me ASAP, either in D8 or via the tutor folder. Also, you will be presenting your power points on Wednesday 23\u00a0March between 9-12. You will be doing this in the library. It will be closed to everyone except us. Any issues, see me, Mrs Dempsey or Ms Bruce.<\/p>\n

Dance Study Support (Miss Kirkwood)<\/strong>
\nThere is Dance study support available for National 5 and Higher pupils with SQA exams to work on choreography. Please feel free to come down to PE at lunch and after school any day prior to your exam.<\/p>\n

S1\/S2 First Chances (Mr Spink)<\/strong>
\nThe First Chances Coordinator from University of St Andrews is coming into school on Tuesday 15 March to talk to S1 and S2 pupils at the following times\/places:<\/p>\n

\nS1 – Period 7, C12 (Ms Mahr)<\/p>\n

Please make sure you go to register with your class teacher first and arrive promptly!<\/p>\n

Tutor Quiz Calendar – WIN points for your House! (Miss Hay)<\/strong>
\nPi Day – Deadline Monday 14 March – Competition to see who can correctly remember the most digits of Pi (3.14….) – Tutor teacher will show the competition brief slide and record a video of anyone who thinks they can win this competition! Tutor teachers will email their videos with your Tutor class name to Miss Hay! The person who recites the most will win 20 points for their house! 2nd Place will win 10 points and 3rd place 5 points! There will be a bonus 20 points for the Tutor class with the best explanation of what Pi is in their video – Google must not be used!<\/p>\n

Red Nose Day Fundraising (S3 Personal Development Class)<\/strong>
\nThe S3 Personal Development class are doing some fundraising for Red Nose Day 2022, which is on Friday 18 March. We have organised a whole school quiz that will take place on Monday 14 March, and Friday 18 March. Prizes for the winners will include vouchers from McDonald\u2019s, Bob and Bert\u2019s, Subway and Greens. Answer sheets will be given out on the 2 days the quiz is taken place and winners announced the following week. If you wish to take part then you can pay the entry fee of \u00a31 to your tutor teacher on Monday 14 March.<\/p>\n

We are also running a raffle for the chance to win a walk with Lexi which will happen period 4 at the end of the week, this raffle is only available to S1 & S2 pupils and tickets can be bought for 50p each, every morning break time Monday-Thursday outside the dinner hall. The winners will be announced on in tutor Friday 18 March and the 12 lucky people will meet in Mr Geissler\u2019s room (B2 Maths corridor) at the start of period 4.<\/p>\n

A guess the cupcake competition will also be running at the same time as the raffle. It will be \u00a32 a turn with the winner receiving a prize of \u00a330 cash!<\/p>\n

Little Shop of Horrors (Ms McMahon)<\/strong>
\nPuppet making for the Little Shop of Horrors will run at lunchtime in B3.<\/p>\n

Basketball Club (Mr Harrower)<\/strong>
\nBasketball club will run on Monday afterschool (3:15-4:15pm) in the Games Hall.<\/p>\n

S2 Football (Mr Pennel)<\/strong>
\nS2 Football will run on Monday afterschool (3:30-4:30pm). Training will be on the Astro so bring appropriate footwear if possible.<\/p>\n

TUESDAY 15 MARCH<\/strong><\/h1>\n

LGBT+ Group (LGBT+ Committee)<\/strong>
\nThe legendary and amazing LGBT+ Group meets every Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) for anyone who wants to have a nice place to sit and enjoy their lunch, get to know other people, make badges and make keyrings. EVERYONE and ANYONE is welcome, hope to see you there!<\/p>\n

KHS Community Choir (Mrs Duckett)<\/strong>
\nThis will run on Tuesdays after school in the Assembly Hall, 3:15-4:15pm.<\/p>\n

Badminton Club (Mr Harrower)<\/strong>
\nBadminton club will be on afterschool on Tuesday in the Games Hall (3:15-4:15pm).\u00a0All pupils from S1-S6 are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n
