MONDAY 13 DECEMBER<\/strong><\/h1>\n

S1\/S2 Pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk (Mrs Bruce)<\/strong>
\nIt is with regret that the Byre Theatre has decided to cancel the performance of Jack and the Beanstalk due to the rise of the Omnicron variant of Covid-19. All pupils who have paid will receive a full refund via IPayimpact. You don\u2019t need to contact the Office as they are aware of who has paid but please be aware that refunds may take a few weeks. You should attend classes as normal on Wednesday. Apologies folks!<\/p>\n

Mrs Kendrick’s Replacement (J Davidson)<\/strong>
\nAs you may know Mrs Kendrick will be going on maternity leave at Xmas. Following interviews, we are delighted to announce Ms Osborne will be her replacement. Mrs Kendrick is still working and available via email – just speak to Mrs Davidson or another guidance teacher if you have any queries. Ms Osborne will be starting to get involved directly with pupils soon where possible.<\/p>\n

Christmas Memorial Baubles (Gillian Wood, PSO)<\/strong>
\nIf you would like to have a personalised bauble in memory of a loved one you can purchase one for \u00a31 at the PSO. You can hang it on the school’s memorial tree at reception before taking it home to hang on your own tree. Any baubles left on the tree will be hung each year. It is a great honour for me to arrange this, you can admire the baubles and tree at reception. Any money raised will be used in our memorial garden.<\/p>\n

Astroturf (Mr English)<\/strong>
\nThe pitch will be closed at break and lunch today due to the amount of litter in the last week. The Seniors have a game after school tonight and need the pitch free of litter.<\/p>\n

Seniors Football (Mr English)<\/strong>
\nAll boys listed for the friendly v Glenrothes HS on Monday, must bring dark coloured shorts and socks for the game.<\/p>\n

S1 Football (Mr Pennel)<\/strong>
\nAll boys who would like to be considered to play in a friendly against St Andrews High next Thursday should attend a meeting today at break in the boy’s gym.<\/p>\n

S1-S4 Young Leader Interviews (Mr Greenhorn)<\/strong>
\nA reminder that Louisa M, Aaron P, Kelsey M, Ellie M & Armaan A all have their YL interview today in the Library at 3:15-4:15pm. The interview will be completed by Mr Greenhorn, Mrs Little & Rebecca S.<\/p>\n

S1-S3 Table Tennis Competition (Mr Greenhorn)<\/strong>
\nThe first play-off matches will take place today at lunchtime (EH vs. TD, KD vs. CC, AK vs. LM & DR vs. JM). Can all participating players please make sure they arrive at the TT suite promptly (1:15pm) to play their scheduled match. There will be no spectators for this event! Results will be posted on social media by the end of the school day.<\/p>\n

S3 Personal Development Bake Sale (Mrs Patton)<\/strong>
\nThe S3 Personal Development Group will be hosting a bake sale on Monday 13 December in C19 from period 1 until the end of break.\u00a0 Items only 50p each<\/p>\n

Science Research Placements (Dr Murray)<\/strong>
\nDr Murray has an opportunity for folk in S5 to spend some time during the summer working in REAL science\/engineering labs. This would obviously be a great opportunity for anyone looking to study Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths subjects beyond school. See Dr Murray if you’re interested! LGBT+ Group (LGBT+ Committee)<\/strong>
\nThe legendary and amazing LGBT+ Group meets every Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) for anyone who wants to have a nice place to sit and enjoy their lunch, get to know other people, make badges, and (new for 2021!) make keyrings. EVERYONE and ANYONE is welcome, hope to see you there!<\/p>\n

KHS Community Choir (Mrs Duckett)<\/strong>
\nThis will run on Tuesdays after school in the Assembly Hall, 3:15-4:15pm.<\/p>\n
