Fife Schools Athletics – IMPORTANT (Mrs Poynter)<\/strong>
\nCould all pupils who are involved in the Fife Schools Athletics please make sure they are at school for 8.20 at the latest tomorrow as the coach is leaving at 8.30. Make sure you bring a packed lunch, plenty of water and appropriate clothing – check the weather forecast. Please speak to Mrs Poynter if you have any questions about this.<\/p>\n

The Scholastic Book Fair is returning to KHS! (Mr Wadsworth)<\/strong>
\nFrom Wednesday 3rd – Friday 12th of June, you can find a selection of genres and trending titles at great prices!
\nThe Book Fair will be held in B23 with Mr Wadsworth each breaktime, so pop by to pick up your next adventure!<\/p>\n

Sports Day (Mrs Poynter)<\/strong>
\nThe pupils that have qualified for Sports Day will be displayed on the P.E notice board, well done to those who have qualified! If you do not want take part in Sports Day please let a member of the P.E department know ASAP. Sports Day will take place on Friday the 12th of June, there will be more information to follow.<\/p>\n

Quadcopter Challenge S2 (Miss Barclay)<\/strong>
\nRaytheon have sent us the 2026 Quadcopter handbook and we have been given our first deadline of 11th June. All Quadcopter teams should meet in Miss Barclay’s room (maths B4) at lunchtimes to begin designing our quadcopters and to come up with a schedule of work.<\/p>\n

Definition:\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>To usurp something (such as power) is to take and keep it by force and without the right to do so. Usurp can also mean “to take the place of by or as if by force.”<\/p>\n

S1\/2 Maths Homework\/Study Club (Mrs McMahon)<\/strong>
\nAll S1 and 2 pupils are invited to come and get help on Tuesday lunchtimes. Bring your lunch and get some help and extra practice with the things you find tricky.<\/p>\n

Lunch Club (YMCA Team)<\/strong>
\nAny Pupils who would benefit from a check in or having a space that’s a bit calmer than the lunch hall\/playground please feel free to pop up for a blether and a bite (we\u2019ve got some multigrain bars and crisps) We are located in The Insync Office, across from B25.<\/p>\n

Futsal Club (Active School\u2019s)<\/strong>
\nCome along to the Games Hall at lunchtime (on Tuesday’s) to join in on some Futsal.<\/p>\n

Jewellery Club (Mrs Geissler)<\/strong>
\nA new Jewellery lunchtime club is starting on Tuesday lunchtime in room E6. We will be looking at making simple pieces of Jewellery using metals and learning processes but also using the 3D Printer and Laser Cutter too! Come along if you fancy it.<\/p>\n

Come and join Mrs Simpson and Mr Wilkie in the Music department on Wednesday’s afterschool in room E13. We are asking you to join The Treblemakers if you have interest in joining future school shows. All are welcome.<\/p>\n

Chess Club (Mr Morrice)<\/strong>
\nChess club runs Wednesday lunchtimes in A9, 1:10-1:40pm. Beginners to Grand master\u2019s welcome. Collect a lunchtime pass from Dr Black or Mr Morrice if you would like to come along.<\/p>\n
