Dress Down Day (Dr. Murray)<\/strong>
\nFriday 15th May will be a dress down day in aid of Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH)<\/a>. They promote, and support positive mental health in our community, and across Scotland. A great charity! The usual rules apply – keep it “school-sensible”, and no football colours.<\/p>\n

Lost Property PE (Mr Stewart)<\/strong>
\nIf you have left any clothing in PE over the last few months, please come down to PE to check our lost property cupboard. Any clothes unclaimed will be given to Charity at the end of the week.<\/p>\n

S3 Lift Off Promo (Mrs Nessel)<\/strong>
\nLift Off (run by Abertay University) are coming in to school today to promote the programme they offer us in KHS. Please attend a meeting in D8 (Miss Nessel’s room) during P3. Register with your class teacher first then make your way to D8 quickly.<\/p>\n

Example:\u00a0<\/strong> The scientists considered their colleague’s theory to be bold but ultimately untenable.<\/em><\/p>\n

Fact:\u00a0 <\/em>UNICEF estimate that around 900 million children across the world live in poverty which prevents them from accessing basic needs such as food, water and shelter.<\/p>\n

\nWe present a weekly show on Kirkcaldy\u2019s radio station, K107FM every Wednesday. You could be involved. We meet every Wednesday in A4 (Dr Murray\u2019s room in Science) to plan the show. Come along and bring your lunch! See Dr M for a lunch\/building pass.<\/p>\n

\nDo you love singing? Do you love performing? Warmup your vocal cords as ‘The Treblemakers Choir’ is just for you. Come and join Mrs Simpson and Mr Wilkie in the Music department on Wednesday’s afterschool in room E13. We are asking you to join The Treblemakers if you have interest in joining future school shows. All are welcome.<\/p>\n

Chess Club (Mr Morrice)<\/strong>
\nChess club runs Wednesday lunchtimes in A9, 1:10-1:40pm. Beginners to Grand master\u2019s welcome. Collect a lunchtime pass from Dr Black or Mr Morrice if you would like to come along.<\/p>\n

Anime & Manga Club (Mrs Kelsey)<\/strong>
\nThe Anime and Manga club runs every Wednesday lunchtime with Ms Kelsey in B29. Come along to watch anime, read manga, and draw manga.<\/p>\n

\nThis will run on Wednesdays after school. Come and see any Physics teacher in A7, A9 or A10.<\/p>\n
