All proceeds will be split between three of the following good causes; Maggie’s Centre, “Stop It Now”, Bliss and Abbeyfield Care Home. One of these local charities will actually be awarded \u00a33000 at today’s Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) final. Best wishes to the teams of S3 and S4 taking part.<\/p>\n

\nOne of KHS’s partners, the Bell Group, a large painting and decorating company, are holding an online employability skills session on Wednesday 23 June, period 5, between 12:15-1:00pm. They will be giving advice about how to make a good first impression at interviews, how to write a CV, and how to improve your communication skills, so that when you come to apply, you get the job, college, or university place that you want! This session will be really useful for anyone in S3-S6 who is thinking about applying for a part-time job in the summer, or who is planning to apply for college\/university or for jobs\/apprenticeships in the future. The online session will be held in Mr Paterson’s classroom in B11. If you are interested in coming along and listening to the session on Wednesday, then please come and speak to Mr Paterson ASAP to book your place!<\/p>\n
