S4 Study Classes – Monday Period 7 (Mrs Hamilton)<\/strong>
\nWe have made some changes to the study classes based on your prelim results. For some learners, we have moved you to a study class with a teacher in a subject where we feel you would benefit from some additional support.
\nPlease check the glass cabinets at the main entrance to find your new study class and make sure you go there on Monday.
\nUnfortunately, we are not able to offer every subject at this time. However, please look out for other revision opportunities across all subjects \u2014 including Friday afternoon sessions, Saturday revision sessions, and Easter school.
\nMake the most of every opportunity available to you.<\/p>\n

2025 Design, Engineering and Technology Models (DET Department)<\/strong>
\nIf any pupils who manufactured a model last year in either Design & Manufacture, Practical Metalwork, Practical Woodwork or Jewellery would like to take it home, please come and collect it from DET before 30.01.26.<\/p>\n

After this date, old models will be recycled to create space for this year’s projects.<\/p>\n

\nOpposite the school is The Den and the mountain bike tracks that many of you will know from the Middleden Mountain Bike Club. This area is a really special place \u2013 it even includes Scotland\u2019s ONLY dual slalom track! \ud83c\udfc6\ud83c\udf04
\nSadly, a huge amount of litter has been found there recently. Over the holidays, thousands of plastic bottles were collected from the paths leading to and from the Shell Garage. \ud83e\udd64\ud83d\udeaf
\nWe\u2019re asking all pupils to take greater responsibility for looking after our community and environment. \ud83c\udf0d\ud83d\udc9a If you walk through The Den or use the bike tracks, please make sure you take your rubbish home or use the bins provided. Every small action helps protect this amazing space for everyone. \ud83d\ude4c\u2728

It can also suggest a refusal to see something apparent to others, or a wilful ignorance of or insensitivity to the real facts of a situation. Obtuse<\/em> can also describe something that is difficult to understand because it is unclear or imprecise.<\/p>\n
