S2 Parents’\/Carers’ Evening In School on Wednesday 14 January 2026 – PEBS (Mrs Noone)<\/strong>
\nThe parent\/carer on-line booking system is open. Booking system closes at 11:55pm on Tuesday 13 January 2026.<\/p>\n

S5\/6 London Trip (Mr Sanderson)<\/strong>
\nThere will be a meeting for the London Trip in B9 on Wednesday 14th January at 1:20pm. Attendance is essential. Any issues please see Mr Sanderson.<\/p>\n

House Captains Meeting, S1, S3 and S6 (Miss Young)<\/strong>
\nAll S1,3 and S6 House Captains must attend a meeting on Thursday lunchtime in B14 (1:20). If for any reason you cannot attend you need to speak to Miss Young in B14 before Thursday<\/p>\n

Medicine Conference (Mrs Smith)<\/strong>
\nTwo-day conference for S3\u2013S6 students who are interested in studying medicine.
\n\ud83d\udcc5 Dates: 21st\u201322nd February 2026
\n\ud83d\udccd Location: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh
\nTravel reimbursements will be available for students travelling to Edinburgh from other parts of Scotland.
\nThis conference is coordinated by current resident doctors and medical students, with support from the University of Edinburgh, and is designed to provide students with an accessible and realistic insight into medicine and medical school.
\nThe conference will include: Talks and panel sessions plus interactive workshops.<\/p>\n

Premier League Trip (Mr I’Anson)<\/strong>
\nAll Pupils in S1-S3 there are 2 spaces available for the Trip to see Man City v Newcastle Utd. Anyone interested in going, come and see Mr I’Anson in the DET Department.<\/p>\n

S5\/6 London Trip (Mr Sanderson)<\/strong>

Indoor ‘Gardening ‘ Club (Mrs Brown\ud83c\udf40)<\/strong>
\nFor winter, Gardening Club is moving inside. Pupils who would like to draw, paint, or research, garden plants are welcome to attend C11, with their lunch. \ud83c\udf43 See me in advance for a pass.<\/p>\n

\nOpposite the school is The Den and the mountain bike tracks that many of you will know from the Middleden Mountain Bike Club. This area is a really special place \u2013 it even includes Scotland\u2019s ONLY dual slalom track! \ud83c\udfc6\ud83c\udf04
\nSadly, a huge amount of litter has been found there recently. Over the holidays, thousands of plastic bottles were collected from the paths leading to and from the Shell Garage. \ud83e\udd64\ud83d\udeaf
\nWe\u2019re asking all pupils to take greater responsibility for looking after our community and environment. \ud83c\udf0d\ud83d\udc9a If you walk through The Den or use the bike tracks, please make sure you take your rubbish home or use the bins provided. Every small action helps protect this amazing space for everyone. \ud83d\ude4c\u2728
