\nThe parent\/carer on-line booking system is open. Booking system closes at 11:55pm on Tuesday 2 December 2025.<\/p>\n

ASDA Community Event (Mrs Duckett)<\/strong>
\nAll musicians involved in the ASDA community event must return their reply slips to Mrs Duckett as soon as possible. That’s wind band, string group, treble makers and other soloists! Spare letters can be collected from Mrs Duckett also. Thanks \ud83d\ude0a\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Christmas Fayre \u2013 Raffle Donations (Events Team & Mr. Caldwell)<\/strong>
\nWe\u2019re excited to announce the Kirkcaldy High School Christmas Fayre on Tuesday, 16th December 2025, and we\u2019d love your help to make it extra special! We\u2019re putting together a festive raffle to raise funds for local charities, and would be so grateful for any donations – big or small – whether it\u2019s a gift, voucher, or larger prize. Every contribution helps us create a brilliant selection of prizes, and donors will be warmly acknowledged at the event. Donations can be dropped off in D10. Fact of the week – Turkish Coffee is officially recognised by UNESCO because it has very specific preparation techniques.<\/p>\n

Definition:<\/strong> To bamboozle<\/em> someone is to deceive, trick, or confuse them.<\/p>\n

Example: <\/strong> The salesperson bamboozled<\/em> us into getting a more expensive item than we had planned to buy.<\/p>\n

Fact: <\/em>In KHS we try to listen to your views as much as possible through pupil led groups, leadership opportunities such as junior and senior house captains and also through focus groups. If you would like to be part of these and have not had the chance, see Miss Young in B14.<\/p>\n

\nCalling all likeminded S2 with an interest in coding. Meet in D6 every Mon. Bring your lunch. See Mr Turnbull in D6 for a pass.<\/p>\n

Rights Respecting Schools Group (Mrs Young)<\/strong>
\nThe Rights Respecting Schools group meet on a Monday lunchtime in B14.<\/p>\n

Badminton Club (Mr Harrower)<\/strong>
\nBadminton Club will begin on Monday 8th September afterschool for all pupils in S1-S6 in the Games Hall. All pupils are welcome.<\/p>\n

English Second Language Club (Ms Solowczuk)<\/strong>
\nThis will run on Monday lunchtime in A10.<\/p>\n

Together We Can (Mrs Johnston)<\/strong>
\nTogether we can group is now on a Monday after school from 3.30-4.15pm.<\/p>\n
