Paris Trip (Miss Coggill)<\/strong>
\nCan all pupils who have a place confirmed on the Paris trip please attend an essential meeting on Thursday 9th October at 1:15\u00a0 in C7.\u00a0 Can any pupils who are unable to attend ensure that they make Miss Coggill aware.<\/p>\n

Digital Leaders Meeting (Miss Samfat)<\/strong>
\nThere will be a meeting of the Digital Leaders on Tuesday lunchtime in D5. Please bring your charged iPads to the meeting. The meeting starts at 1:15pm. Drop by D5 to collect a lunchtime pass on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n

School show (Ms Bruce)<\/strong>
\nIf you’d like to get involved and be part of our next school musical, it’s not too late, join us on Tuesday after school 3.30-4.30pm in the Drama Department. Tuesday’s workshop will focus on Acting. Please see Ms Bruce or Mr Wilkie if you have any questions.<\/p>\n

S1 Pantomime (Mrs MacKenzie)<\/strong>
\nThe English Department are running a trip for S1 to our local theatre- Adam Smith- to watch their performance of ‘Aladdin’. The trip will take place on Wednesday 17th December 2025 and will cost \u00a310. If you would like to go on the trip, please see Mrs Mackenzie (B28) for a permission slip. There are only 100 tickets available so be quick!<\/p>\n

Fitness Club (Mrs Poynter)<\/strong>

Christmas Fayre \u2013 Raffle Donations (Events Team & Mr. Caldwell)<\/strong>
\nWe\u2019re excited to announce the Kirkcaldy High School Christmas Fayre on Tuesday, 16th December 2025, and we\u2019d love your help to make it extra special! We\u2019re putting together a festive raffle to raise funds for local charities, and would be so grateful for any donations – big or small – whether it\u2019s a gift, voucher, or larger prize. Every contribution helps us create a brilliant selection of prizes, and donors will be warmly acknowledged at the event. Donations can be dropped off in D10. Nonchalant<\/em><\/p>\n

Definition: <\/strong>Someone described as nonchalant is relaxed and calm, either because they do not care about something or because they are not worried about something. Nonchalant<\/em> can also be used to describe something, such as demeanour or behaviour, that expresses such relaxed, calm unconcern.<\/p>\n

Example:\u00a0<\/strong> The team showed a somewhat nonchalant<\/em> attitude at the beginning of the season, but they became more serious once the championship was within reach.<\/p>\n
