IPads (Mrs Hamilton) <\/strong>
\nEvery young person in S1\u2013S6 will receive their iPad in school on either Tuesday or Wednesday this week. Collection times will be emailed to parents and carers, and will also be displayed on the glass cabinets outside the PSO base.
\nIf you’re unsure of your allocated time, please check the lists. You must go directly to the assembly hall at the start of your scheduled period and sit with your class.<\/p>\n

S2-S3 Football (Mr Geissler & Mr MacMorris)<\/strong>
\nCan any S2 or S3 boys interested in playing for the school football team meet in the boys gym today at break time.<\/p>\n

Wellbeing Launch Event (Mrs Gibb)<\/strong>
\nAt lunchtime today, in the old PSO base, we are hosting a launch event for our Wellbeing drop-in. This will involve trying a variety of activities to support wellbeing, including kinetic sand, making stress balls, badge making and more.<\/p>\n

There will also be the option for people to discuss, 1-1, any wellbeing concerns and to get some support with this.<\/p>\n

Please pop along and say “Ciao” (hello).<\/p>\n

This will be on every Wednesday at lunchtime so if you can’t make today, you can come along at another time.<\/p>\n

Career Ready Scotland Internships (Mr McCowan)<\/strong>
\nCareer Ready Scotland is a social-mobility organisation that arranges 1-2-1 mentoring for pupils with an industry expert, as well as careers masterclasses and a 4-week paid internship in the summer of 2026. To apply, pupils need to be planning to stay until the end of S6 and be able to commit to working the full month of the internship. The deadline for applications is Wednesday September 24th. Interested pupils should see Mr. McCowan in C4 for help with their applications.<\/p>\n

S5-S6 Winter Formal Dance<\/strong>
\nTickets are now on sale for the Senior Winter Formal. Any pupils wishing to attend, please come to D9 where tickets are on sale for \u00a35!! Come along to collect yours.<\/p>\n

KHS Christmas Fayre (Events team)<\/strong>

\nWe present a weekly show on Kirkcaldy\u2019s radio station, K107FM every Wednesday. You could be involved. We meet every Wednesday in A4 (Dr Murray\u2019s room in Science) to plan the show. Come along and bring your lunch! See Dr M for a lunch\/building pass.<\/p>\n

S2 Code Club (Mr Turnbull)<\/strong>

The Treblemakers Choir (Mr Wilkie)<\/strong>
\nDo you love singing? Do you love performing? Warmup your vocal cords as ‘The Treblemakers Choir’ is just for you. Come and join Mrs Simpson and Mr Wilkie in the Music department on Wednesday’s afterschool in room E13. We are asking you to join The Treblemakers if you have interest in joining future school shows.
