\"Mentors<\/p>\n

The Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP)<\/a> programme explores a series of \u2018scenarios\u2019 involving a range of behaviours, such as name-calling, sexting, controlling behaviour and harassment. Using a \u2018bystander\u2019 approach individuals are not considered potential victims or perpetrators; instead, they are empowered and active bystanders with the ability to support and challenge their peers in a safe way.<\/p>\n

It is an excellent Programme for schools and employers. We’ve been training our mentors this week – here’s what a couple of them said!<\/p>\n

“I think the course was really informative and I think it was a great opportunity to build confidence in speaking in front of people. I really enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to presenting in the younger classes!”<\/em><\/p>\n

“I think MVP Training was great opportunity to improve my public speaking confidence. I really enjoyed it.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“It was very interesting to learn more about real life situations and hear other people’s opinions on them I’m glad to be more educated on situations brought up in the training and I hope I can help others with what I know.”<\/em><\/p>\n
