S1,2&3 Girls football (Mrs Steedman)<\/strong>
\nIf you are in the above year group and would be interested in playing for the girls school football team this year can you please attend a meeting at break time today in the PE department. If you cannot make it and want to play speak to Mrs Steedman.<\/p>\n

Crochet Club (Mrs Christie)<\/strong>
\nMrs Christie is going to be starting a lunchtime crochet club. This is for S1-S4 pupils, all experience levels are welcome. Maybe you want some quiet time at lunch or maybe you want to meet some friends who have similar interest. If you are interested please complete the form below by scanning the QR code.<\/p>\n

MVP Mentors (Mentors in Violence Prevention – Mrs Dempsey)<\/strong>
\nAll S5 and S6 who are interested in signing up to be a MVP Mentor please use the QR Code that will be shared with you in PSE from your Guidance Teacher. Mr F has the QR Code if you miss PSE or give your name to Mrs Dempsey.<\/p>\n

It is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a peer mentoring programme, and you will be trained over 2 days to deliver a couple of lessons to the younger year groups on preventing and responding to all forms of gender based violence. If this is something you would like to be involved in but not keen for delivering lessons, there are other areas and jobs you can do too, just get signed up.<\/p>\n

Community Food Bank (Mrs Smith)<\/strong>
\nPupils are invited to come along at the end of day to D2 and take whatever food has been donated that was cooked in the department that day.<\/p>\n

Rights Respecting Schools Group – new members (Miss Young) <\/strong>
\nS6 interviews will be held on Monday – make sure you have spoken to Miss Young for a time at lunchtime. See the year group teams page for names.
\nS1 should sign up either when the S2 visit classes or using the QR code that will be around the school – interviews will be the following Monday (8th) at lunchtime.<\/p>\n

Social Subjects Ambassadors (Miss Young)<\/strong>
\nWe will get to work on Wednesday lunchtime (3rd September) on our exiting new school newspaper in Miss Reston’s room – B11 so come along with your lunch and your ideas and be ready to get started!<\/p>\n

S3-S4 Enterprising Maths Challenge (Miss Barclay)<\/strong>
\nIt’s time for the annual Enterprising Maths Challenge! The competition includes: design a poster, maths challenge, practical activity and relay race, and you will be guided through the process by a maths teacher. Each team consists of two S3 students and two S4 students. The Fife heat is in September. Please let Miss Barclay (B4) know before Friday if you are in S3 or S4 and are interested in taking part.<\/p>\n

Return of Art Folios (Mrs Cowie)<\/strong>
\nIf you sat National 5 or Higher Art and Design last session and you would like your folios returned from the SQA can you, please see Mrs Cowie in the Art Department by Friday 12th Sept.
\nThe cost for the return of the folios is \u00a33.91 payable at the office.
\nFolios will be returned some time after the October break.<\/p>\n

Quadcopter Club (Miss Barclay)<\/strong>
\nWe will have one meeting before the Build and Fly stage to get familiar with the CAA Regulations. Please attend B4 after school either on Monday 1st September or Wednesday 3rd September 3:30pm-4pm. Congratulations on your first round success!<\/p>\n
