They worked collaboratively to research and share stories that would inspire others to care about our planet\u2019s blue heart.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udc20 Creative and Critical Thinking<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pupils took part in a range of imaginative tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Any Fin Will Do&#8221; challenged them to design their own fish adapted to marine environments.<\/li>\n<li>They created **tessellation fish art** pieces and wrote personal pledges to reduce their plastic use\u2014contributing to a shared mural promoting ocean awareness.<\/li>\n<li>Through the &#8220;Myths of the Ocean&#8221; session, groups retold legendary stories such as Atlantis and the Kraken, using props made from recycled materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>One student pledge read: \u201cI pledge to reuse bottles and use metal straws instead of plastic.\u201d Another wrote, \u201cOur planet will end by 2141 if we don\u2019t stop using single-use plastics!\u201d &#8211; a powerful reminder of the stakes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udfac Film Trailer Fun<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To wrap up, pupils, brainstormed, scripted, and presented film trailers designed to raise awareness about ocean threats. Using a mix of PowerPoint, props, drawings, and digital tools, they pitched their stories to classmates\u2014receiving peer feedback to reflect and improve their presentations.<\/p>\n<p>The Sea Story days were a fantastic success\u2014combining science, storytelling, creativity, and environmental education. We are so proud of our pupils for their thoughtful work and passionate advocacy. \ud83c\udf0d\ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s all take inspiration from their pledges and work together to protect our
