Celebrate Scotland (The Equalities Group)<\/strong>
\nThis month we are… Celebrating Scotland!
\nPlease greet everyone – staff and other young people – with the word “Hiya” for the rest of this month! Let’s get into the Scottish spirit!<\/p>\n

Did you know: the national animal of Scotland is…. The unicorn!<\/p>\n

Come and join us on Thursday at lunchtime for our Scottish tasting event! You need to say “Hiya” to get a taste of the goodies!<\/p>\n

Gardening Club (Mrs Brown)\ud83c\udf39\ud83c\udf3b\ud83c\udf38<\/strong>
\nI’m still trying to get the weeds out of the raised beds and put in new plants this week. If you’d like to help then bring your lunch to the Serenity Garden TODAY.<\/p>\n

Madrid Fundraising (Mr Spink)<\/strong>
\nPupils will be at the War Memorial at Break and Lunch for the next while to raise funds for the Madrid Trip, leaving in a few week’s time.\u00a0 Please go and see them and contribute, if you can – you never know when it might be for your trip.\u00a0 There are a couple of options and prizes to be won for either \u00a31 or \u00a32 including Squishmallows and sweets.<\/p>\n

Together We Can (Miss Johnston)<\/strong>
\nTogether We Can will run on Thursday lunchtime. Come down to the PE department at lunch.<\/p>\n

Article 27: Healthy Food – Free Food (Mrs Young)<\/strong>
\nFree Food: We are trying to reduce food waste therefore can you please come along to D2 at the end of each day to make use of the free food that is available. This will include food that has been cooked in home economics as well as fresh food that needs to be used up. This will be available every day on a first come first served basis and will help make sure food does not get binned which is good for us and the environment! There is usually even more excess on a Friday so get down ASAP! Thanks, Rights Respecting Schools Group<\/p>\n

\nThe KHS Equality Group meets every Thursday lunchtime in A4. Anyone who is interested in any aspect of equality is welcome whether it be age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation.
