Blue Bulletin &#8211; Monday 21.04.25"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong>MONDAY 21 APRIL<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><strong>Hot Meal: <\/strong> Soup of the day, Chicken Fried Rice in Chinese Style Curry Sauce or Beef Burger in a Bun with Chips.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Article 27: Healthy Food &#8211; Free Food (Mrs Young)<\/strong><br \/>\nFree Food: We are trying to reduce food waste therefore can you please come along to D2 at the end of each day to make use of the free food that is available. This will include food that has been cooked in home economics as well as fresh food that needs to be used up. This will be available every day on a first come first served basis and will help make sure food does not get binned which is good for us and the environment! There is usually even more excess on a Friday so get down ASAP! The meeting will be about new projects coming up this year as well as discussing membership, badges and choice of meeting days (feel free to bring lunch).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Calm Colouring Club (Ms Geddes)<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you are looking for a quiet space to enjoy your lunch and do a bit of colouring, then head along to A3 from 1:10pm every Monday lunchtime.<\/p>\n<p><strong>S1-S6 Basketball (Mr Stewart)<\/strong><br \/>\nBasketball for all year groups on Monday from 3:30-4:30pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>S1 Football (Mr Geissler)<\/strong><br \/>\nS1 boys football training afterschool Monday from 3:30-4:15pm. Meet in the PE department.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fitness Suite Mondays (Mrs Steedman)<\/strong><br \/>\nEvery Monday lunchtime the Fitness Suite will be open to all pupils S1-S6. Grab a quick lunch and come down to use the equipment, you can do whatever workout you like, some cardio or some weights, entirely up to you!<\/p>\n<p><strong>French Study Support (Mrs Morris)<\/strong><br \/>\nFrench study support for N4\/5 and Higher will take place on a Monday afterschool 3:30-4:30pm in C9.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>TUESDAY 22 APRIL<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><strong>Hot Meal: <\/strong> Soup of the day, Traditional Macaroni Cheese with Garlic Bread or Teriyaki Roasted Vegetables with Egg Noodles and Garlic Bread.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LGBT+ Group (Dr Murray) \ud83c\udff3\ufe0f\u200d\u26a7\ufe0f<\/strong><br \/>\nThe LGBT+ Group meets on Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray\u2019s room in Science). It is a social space open to EVERYONE whether you are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, any other identity, or an ally of the community. See Dr Murray for a pass if you want to come. Bring your lunch!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enterprising Maths Club (Mr Jones &amp; Ms Barclay)<\/strong><br \/>\nAre you a maths whiz looking for a club where you can really challenge yourself? Join our Enterprising Maths Club and tackle mind-bending problems with other students. There&#8217;s even a chance to represent the school in maths competitions, so get involved! Come to B4 every Tuesday lunchtime.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Glee Choir (Mr Wilkie)<\/strong><br \/>\nGlee Choir will run in the Music Department on Tuesday &amp; Wednesday lunchtime in E12..<\/p>\n<p><strong>S1-S2 Netball (Miss Johnston &amp; Mrs Poynter)<\/strong><br \/>\nS1-S2 will train on Tuesday night, 3:30-4:15pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>S3 &amp; Senior Netball (Mrs Steedman)<\/strong><br \/>\nNetball training will now be on a Tuesday after school. Any one welcome to come along!<\/p>\n<p><strong>S1-S6 Dance Club (Miss Johnston &amp; Mrs Poynter)<\/strong><br \/>\nDance Club will be running for all S1-S6 after school on Tuesdays at 3:25pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Extra-Curricular Rugby (Mr Harrower)<\/strong><br \/>\nAfter school rugby is on today for all pupils in S1-S6. Come down to the PE department straight after school.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chemistry Study Support (Chemistry Teachers)<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you need help with any aspect of Chemistry or S1-S2 Science, at any level then Chemistry Study Support is the place to get it. One of your happy, smiling chemistry teachers will be available Tuesday 3:30-4:30pm in either of A4, A5, or A6 for all your questions, queries and conundrums. You could also simply use this as a quiet place to study, or even get that homework task completed that you\u2019ve been putting off since the dawn of time.
