S2 Football (Mr Pennel)<\/strong>
\nAny players interested in playing in an upcoming league match, please attend a meeting today at break in the boys’ gym.<\/p>\n

Rights Meeting (Miss Young)<\/strong>
\nRights Meeting today! Just a reminder we have an extra meeting at 1:20pm today for last minute prep for tomorrows assembly.<\/p>\n

Matilda (Ms Bruce)<\/strong>
\nOur first rehearsal will take place today after school 3.30-4.30pm. All cast members, including anyone who wants to be part of the ensemble should attend as important information will be shared.<\/p>\n

S3 STEM Speed Dating (Dr Murray)<\/strong>
\nToday, we will be hosting 20-30 ambassadors from a number of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM) fields. They will be stationed around the hall with groups of folk in S3 given 5 minutes to “grill” them on their lives and careers. It’s always loads of fun and a great opportunity to find out about STEM-related jobs and what they actually entail day to day. Don’t worry, you’ll be given “prompt” questions to help you out if you can’t think of anything to ask. The split in the S3 year group is…<\/p>\n

P1 – Surnames A-F (79 pupils)
\nP2 – Surnames G-L (63 pupils)
\nP3 – Surnames M-R (65 pupils)
\nP4 – Surnames S-Z (52 pupils)<\/p>\n

Check in with your usual teacher first before heading to the hall with all your worldly goods and a big smile.<\/p>\n

S1 Japanese Visit (Mrs Morris)<\/strong>
\nOn Monday 2 December we are hosting another Japanese visit, this time with important guests from the Japanese Foundation in London. This will be open to 20 lucky S1 pupils interested in learning Japanese. This visit will be in C9 from 1:15-2:30pm (so starts during lunch) therefore you will need either a packed lunch or be in the dinner hall as quick as possible. Please scan the QR code to register your interest or come and see the Japanese Club members during lunch any Monday in C9. You will receive an official invitation which will remind you of the details of this event.<\/p>\n

\nWe present a weekly show on Kirkcaldy\u2019s radio station, K107FM every Wednesday. You could be involved. We meet every Wednesday in A4 (Dr Murray\u2019s room in Science) to plan the show. Come along and bring your lunch! See Dr M for a lunch\/building pass.<\/p>\n

\nAnime and Manga club will be on a Wednesday lunchtime in B29.<\/p>\n

KHS Glee Club (Mr Wilkie)<\/strong>
\nKHS Glee Club with Mrs Duckett and Mr Wilkie runs Wednesday after school, 3:30\u20134:30pm in E12. No auditions, anyone who is interested in trying out singing in a show choir is welcome! Please see Mr Wilkie for more information.<\/p>\n

Together We Can Group (Miss Johnston)<\/strong>
\nTogether We Can group is on after school, Thursdays in the PE department from 3:30-4:15pm.<\/p>\n

Equality Group (Dr Murray)<\/strong>
\nThe KHS Equality Group meets every Thursday lunchtime in A4. Anyone who is interested in any aspect of equality is welcome whether it be age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation.
