Remembrance Assemblies (Mrs Harrower)<\/strong>
\nThe annual KHS Remembrance Assemblies will take place TODAY. These will be HOUSE assemblies, as follows:<\/p>\n

Register with your teacher before coming to the hall. Please leave your jackets and bags in the classroom.<\/p>\n

2 Minute Silence (Mrs Harrower)<\/strong>
\nPeriod 3, TODAY, the school will fall silent at 11am for 2 minutes. A bell will ring to begin the silence and to end the silence across the school. At this time, the Head Boy and Head Girl will lay a wreath at the War Memorial on behalf of all pupils at KHS.<\/p>\n

Bullying Week (Mrs Gibb)<\/strong>
\nMonday 11th November to Friday 15th November is anti-bullying week. To recognise and raise awareness, our Peer Mediators will be in the War Memorial area on Tuesday and Thursday next week to discuss any concerns young people have in this area and to highlight the processes for reporting alleged bullying behaviour.\u00a0 Please pop along to see them if you have anything you would like to discuss.<\/p>\n

\nThe Maths Department bulk calculator order has finally arrived. Sorry for the delay, it took a lot longer for them to get here than expected. If you ordered, and have already paid for a calculator, please see Mr Cromb in B1 to collect it. If your parents\/carers indicated that they would like to purchase a calculator for you but haven’t paid for it yet, further information will be sent out regarding this. Once existing orders have been fulfilled, any surplus calculators will be made available for people to buy.<\/p>\n

\nMental Health Ambassadors meeting in B15 at Lunchtime.<\/p>\n

Rights Respecting Schools Group and Ambassadors (Miss Young)<\/strong>
\nCan all existing members and anyone keen to join come along to B14 and anyone who expressed interest in being an ambassador. The meeting will be about new projects coming up this year as well as discussing membership, badges and choice of meeting days. (feel free to bring lunch).<\/p>\n

Calm Colouring Club (Ms Geddes)<\/strong>
\nIf you are looking for a quiet space to enjoy your lunch and do a bit of colouring, then head along to A3 from 1:10pm every Monday lunchtime.<\/p>\n

S1-S6 Basketball (Mr Stewart)<\/strong>
\nBasketball for all year groups will be running on a Monday from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.<\/p>\n

Japanese Club (Mrs Morris)<\/strong>
\nJapanese club will return on a Monday lunch time in C9 with Mrs Morris. Come along with your lunch and learn about the Japanese culture and language.<\/p>\n

S1 Football (Mr Geissler)<\/strong>
\nS1 boys football training after school Monday (3.30-4.15pm). Meet in the PE department.<\/p>\n

U15 Boys Football (Mr Mooney)<\/strong>
\nU15 Football will run on Mondays after school. All welcome.<\/p>\n

Fitness Suite Mondays (Mrs Steedman)<\/strong>
\nEvery Monday lunch time the fitness Suite will be open to all pupils S1-S6. Grab a quick lunch and come down to use the equipment, you can do whatever workout you like, some cardio or some weights, entirely up to you!<\/p>\n

TUESDAY 12 NOVEMBER<\/h1>\n

LGBT+ Group (Dr Murray) \ud83c\udff3\ufe0f\u200d\u26a7\ufe0f<\/strong>
\nThe LGBT+ Group meets on Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray\u2019s room in Science). It is a social space open to EVERYONE whether you are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, any other identity, or an ally of the community. See Dr Murray for a pass if you want to come. Bring your lunch!<\/p>\n

Creative Well-being Club (PSO Team)<\/strong>
\nThere is a new opportunity open to pupils to join the Creative Well-being Club. The group will be creating and designing a new school poster to showcase the well-being indicators and what they are. This will run on Tuesday lunchtimes in the Inclusion Hub. There will be a house point incentive for participating.<\/p>\n

Enterprising Maths Club (Mr Jones & Ms Barclay)<\/strong>
\nAre you a maths whiz looking for a club where you can really challenge yourself? Join our Enterprising Maths Club and tackle mind-bending problems with other students. There’s even a chance to represent the school in maths competitions, so get involved! Come to B4 every Tuesday lunchtime.<\/p>\n

School Netball (Miss Johnston & Mrs Poynter)<\/strong>
\nSchool netball is for all age groups, where you will have the opportunity to train on a weekly basis and compete in competitive matches against other schools. All school netball is FREE and there are no match fees. S1\/S2 will train on Tuesday night 3:30 – 4:15pm<\/p>\n

S1-S6 Dance Club (Miss Johnston & Mrs Poynter)<\/strong>
\nDance Club will be running for all S1 to S6 after school on Tuesdays at 3.25pm<\/p>\n

S1-3 Study Club (Dr Black)<\/strong>
\nIf you need a place to complete your homework or get some extra practice in come along to D10 on Tuesday lunchtimes (1:15-1:45)<\/p>\n

Chemistry Study Support (Chemistry Teachers)<\/strong>
\nIf you need help with any aspect of Chemistry or S1-S2 science, at any level then Chemistry Study Support is the place to get it. One of your happy, smiling chemistry teachers will be available Tuesday 3.30pm-4.30pm in either of A4, A5, or A6 for all your questions, queries and conundrums. You could also simply use this as a quiet place to study, or even get that homework task completed that you\u2019ve been putting off since the dawn of time.
